5050 Skatepark made a few additions to the legendary Brooklyn Banks!
The crew over at 5050 Skatepark in New York City just sent over this video they put together giving you a look at the recent additions they built for the Brooklyn Banks, plus some riding footage that Alex Avilla, Dom Simoncini, Cameron Robbins and Steven Larosa got in to test out the new ramps and ledge. Take a peek! Looks like it’ll make for some interesting setups around the spot!
The LFS crew have finally had enough of the cold weather, so they decided to head over to Rochester, New York to check out the new Breaking Free Skatepark and catch a session without freezing their nuts off. Here’s a look at what went down during the session! Looks like it was a productive trip and the place looks like a ton of fun to ride. Check it!

This ain’t clickbait… This BMX Basketball Trick Shot is actually insane!
5050 Skatepark has seen it’s fair share of crazy things go down in the building from riding to random stuff that just happens at the place. We just had a video sent over that has a title that left us a little skeptical going into it, but figured we might as well check it out and see if it lived up to be an “insane BMX basketball trick shot“. Alex Avilla and Dom Simoncini teamed up for what should be an impossible trick shot involving a BMX bike, a basketball and hoop. Hit play to watch Alex literally tailwhip the ball halfway across the skatepark into the hoop! This is definitely a 3-pointer. The video might require a few looks, but it’s nothing short of insane. Check it out!
We’re not sure what song this is, but it must be popular since we just posted a video from Indonesia that has the exact same song, haha. Either way! 5050 Skatepark hit us with a link to their latest video featuring Charlie Quigley, Dom Simoncini, Alex Avilla, and Lucas Rusinak all putting in some work at the skatepark out in New York. The LFS crew dropped the next section from their “LFS2” DVD online for your viewing pleasure. This time around we get a look at what Vinny Crispino and Alex Avilla threw down for the video. You already know both of these guys slay street spots and that’s exactly what is in this.
“Shaolin in the flesh. This section means a lot to the scene around here. Vinny Crispino has been down a tough road with BMX, but that didn’t stop him from coming through with another wild section. And it’s about damn time the world see’s Alex Avilla’s insane technical game, he’s been steady killing it forever! Watch these two hold it down for Staten.

We’re not too sure if it’s possible to have “too many skateparks”, but maybe we’re taking the title out of context. Either way, Lucas Rusinak dropped this mix of footage he collected from a handful of skateparks along the east coast, with a bunch of street clips and even a few clips from a trip down south for good measure. This has a good mix of tricks and styles, so take a look and enjoy!
“Happy to say I’ve been riding a ton again with a dope crew, some old friends and some new. This edit is the result of me hoarding every GoPro clip (all clips are filmed on a GoPro) we got for probably over a year now. Clips from all over the boroughs, Jersey, and even a bit of New Orleans.

It has been good seeing the median age for BMX riders slowly start to climb as more guys are riding well into their 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s these days. The LFS crew threw an Old Mans night at 5050 Skatepark in New York City to give them some time to ride without having to worry about dodging the young guns and kids on scooters. Although I don’t think anyone in this one is really that old, there was no shortage of dialed riding that went down.
