Animal Bikes – NYC Takeover Ride

When the Animal Bikes crew throw a street jam in New York City, there’s bound to be an insane turn out, crazy antics and plenty of dialed riding. Here’s a bunch of footage that they collected from the night filled with police lights and spots from Colin Varanyak, Grimaldo Duran, Ji Hoon Lee, Joby Suender, Mike Osso, Matt Miller, Chris Carter, Tenzin Nyandak and more. It looks like it was a damn good time to us! Check it!

Jeff Z. Facebook Live Bike Check

During a trip to New York City for the GT Bicycles 2017 BMX product launch, we caught up with Ride BMX photographer, Jeff Z., to take a closer look at his current Skavenger setup that he’s running decked out with Animal Bikes parts! The bike might not be the most dialed, current bike, but it does have a lot of character. This originally appeared as a Facebook Live video, so that’s why the quality is a little rough around the edges, but you can still get a good look at the bike.

Animal Bikes X Terrible One – Garrett Byrnes Tire Promo

Animal Bikes uploaded the Garrett Byrnes promo for the Animal X Terrible One collaboration Ursa Minor and Major Tires to their Youtube channel, so we figured it was a good enough excuse for another look at it! Hit play to watch Garrett absolutely destroy a few skateparks, pools and street spots with a few guest clips from Lil Jon. Everything about this video kicks ass, so make sure you hit play and enjoy this… A couple times!

There’s a new Bike Check over on the Animal Bikes website giving you a closer look at Anthony DeRosa‘s current Brooklyn Machine Works setup that he’s running decked out with Animal parts from top to bottom. We haven’t seen too many of the Brooklyn Machine Works frames so far, so that’s pretty interesting to see. There’s also a prototype fork, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for that in the near future. Riding with Animal Bikes – 360 Virtual Reality BMX

Yesterday we caught a teaser for this one and we’ve been waiting to see it ever since! Animal Bikes is getting a jump on the whole Virtual Reality thing that’s starting to take off and this is their first crack at it! Hit play to watch the crew go to work on some spots and take in everything that’s going on by moving around either with your phone in the Youtube app or by using your mouse on the video!

“We are excited to share “Riding with Animal”. A 360 video experience that was put together by our friends, @Glennppmilligan and @andydreadsbmx at united-realities.com. The video is an interactive experience that features Edwin DeLarosa, Augie Simoncini, Andrew Castaneda, Brenden Tombow, Charles Littlejohn and Rocco Giuseppe.

You can watch this video on your desktop computer. You will need to use your mouse to move around in the 360 environment. On your mobile device, you’ll need to have the YOUTUBE app for the video to work. If you have VR goggles then you already know how to use this, and this will work with them!
