It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new one from the Alone BMX team. The crew recently loaded up for a little trip into Northern Europe and spent some time bouncing around parks and street spots filming for this new one. Great riding and some dialed film work!

“A few of the alone bmx team members jumped in the zeal mobile and hit up Northern Europe for a week and managed to bundle together this little number.

Riding Rural – A BMX Film

June 30, 2014

They might not have much to ride, but they definitely make the best of it out in rural Vermont! If you ever say you have nothing to ride, you need to watch this and start thinking outside the box a bit!

“Riding Rural is a short film about a couple dudes riding BMX in Vermont, featuring BMX riders Jamie Cooper-Ellis and Dylan Bresnahan. For this project we set out to find rural areas in Vermont, and through building custom ramps with pallets and a 2x4s,turn these rustic zones into BMX riding spots.
“It’s all about being a little kid on your bike

Taking Flight

June 29, 2014

Filmer, Lars Veenstra, got his hands on one of those fancy FS700’s and decided he would see just how good the camera is. Here’s some slow-mo action featuring Syo van Vliet getting down for the camera. Looks real good to me!

“I rented a Sony FS700 camera for a commercial project last week and had some time before the shoot to test the camera and experiment a little. Luckily bmx rider (and photographer) Syo van Vliet was willing to help out and display his skills so I had a subject to film. Thanks again Syo.
The result is a bit slower and perhaps more atmospheric than my previous work, a bit as an experiment really. I do like the way it worked out though. I think.
Shot on a Sony FS700 with Tokina 11-16mm, Sigma 8mm & Sigma 18-35mm lenses.
Music: “Rise” (Snowfall Remix) by Tony Anderson, licenced via The Music Bed.
” – Lars Veenstra
