Empire – Cut from the Same Cloth: Chris Doyle and Roger Sullivan

November 2, 2013

Damn! This is badass. Turns out Chris Doyle has a cousin that kicks a lot of ass and even used to be a pro BMX rider! Check out this video Empire dropped from a trip down to Florida Chris took to hang out and ride with his cousin, Roger Sullivan, recently. So awesome.

“They say it’s a small world, and BMX is, apparently, an even smaller one. As it turns out, Chris Doyle, one of the most prolific and talented riders of our time, has a cousin named Roger Sullivan who was a professional BMX rider in the late 1980s. I had to learn more about this highly unlikely family connection, so Chris and I headed down to Florida to meet up with Roger, hang out, and ride bikes with this BMX legend from the past.” – Walter Pieringer

Sidewall – Fresh Picks: TSG Kraken Helmet

November 2, 2013

Due for a new helmet? Have you checked out the Kraken helmet from TSG? Check out the video above for a closer look and then get the full details below. If you are liking what you are seeing, you can pick this helmet up on Sidewall Action Sports or you can have your local shop hit up Sidewall Distribution to get you one ordered up today!

“TSG revolutionized the helmet industry when we first launched the Kraken back in 2010. The Kraken utilizes a series of interior EPS foam segments connected by a reinforcing skeleton, allowing the helmet to flex and conform to your head for the ultimate in wearing comfort. It adapts to not only the size but the entire shape of your head. The FlexTech interior shell fits snug but won’t cramp or put too much pressure on certain points of the head. And of course it still meets the required safety standards. All this comfort is added to our snug and low fit shell. Plus, the multi-part shell shows superior impact energy distribution results, providing maximum wearing comfort and safety. Now with heat-sealed interior pads.
