The annual Number One Rider Awards from Ride BMX have been going for 17 years, this year. Over the years, some of the best riders in the world have been voted the best by other professional riders. Flat Matters – Gurujam: Behind The Scenes Interview
Effraim over at Flat Matters shot the guy behind the Guru Jam, that’s happening in October, Joe Cicman, some questions about the event he’s putting on. Bielefeld City Jam 2013
The guys over at Freedom BMX sent through this new video they put together from the Bielefeld City Jam that went recently. Other than the naked dude with the tube song dong strap and the medals saying “Bi City” on them, this video is loaded with some awesome riding. There was also a huge turn out for the event which is awesome to see. Plus, Tobias Wicke gets a ton of clips in this and there is just not enough of that guy going around anymore!

Here’s something I spotted over on The Merged. It looks like FBM will be releasing some Black Flag 4-piece bars here in the near future. They feature a rise of 8-5/8″, 29.5″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. If you are looking for some American made 4-piece bars, these might just be what you need in your life.

It has been entirely too long since I’ve seen Clem Hencher-Stevens’ name pop up in a video in some form. It sounds like he’s still been filming and riding because he’s now doing it for Paper Boy Posse. Check out some footage of him putting down some real solid riding at a park to bring the news!

The Monster Energy Copenhagen BMX Open
Always awesome to see some fresh footage from the guys over in Denmark. Check out this video from the first Copenhagen BMX Open bowl jam. It looks like they had a pretty solid turn out and some real good riding went down. Plus, the park looks fun as hell! Check it out!

Here’s a rad new promo video for Nathan Sykes’ clothing brand, Locals Only. This is a mix of a bunch of the crew putting down at a few parks and trails spots. Definitely worth a look! Take a peek at their website while you’re at it!
“The last month or so I have started shooting and filming video shoots for instagram. I had done a bunch of 15 second videos for instagram and it just isn’t enough. So I decided to take all the footage and throw together a little edit of all my great friends.
Locals Only Brand is a clothing company that I started this last year. It’s a street wear brand that is influnced by the BMX culture that I grow up around. Everyone is a “Local” in there own comunity and that’s what I love about BMX too! We are all different and have different styles of clothing and riding but at the end of the day we are all Locals some where.
