Sneak Peek: Alone BMX – Roxbury Frame

Alone BMX dropped a little sneak peek look at their new Roxbury frame that will be dropping in June that has some interesting colorway options. This full Sanko 4130 chromoly frame has a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.65″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.2″ – 13.5″ (20.75″) or 13.4″ – 13.75″ (21″) chain stay length. The frame will feature a plate top tube gusset and a box down tube gusset, dent resistant straight gauge 1.2mm thick down tube and chain stays, an externally butted seat tube, tapered top tube, seat stays and chain stays, wide stays for plenty of tire clearance for 2.40″ tires and small 5mm thick heat-treated drop outs.

The Roxbury frame will be available in 3 versions that have different styles; Zebra with removable brake mounts, leopard with welded lugs and snakeskin (photo above) that is completely brakeless. The frames will be available in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths and weigh in at 5 lbs.

Expect more photos of the other colorway options closer to the release next month, June 2015.

Product: Cult – Trey Jones Signature Stone Cold Frame

Trey Jones is the latest rider to be given a signature frame from Cult! The Stone Cold frame is made from Straight Gauge 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ stand over height and a 13.5″ chain stay length. The frame features a CNC machined integrated head tube, a top tube gusset with an embossed Cult logo, a gusset on the down tube, a butted seat tube, externally machined Mid bottom bracket, tapered seat stays, curved seat and chain stay bridges for 2.40″ tire clearance, welded on grind plates on the chain stays, 5mm thick heat-treated drop outs, an integrated seat post clamp and removable brake mounts!

The Stone Cold frame will be available in Black and Orange with top tube lengths of 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ options. The frame should be hitting shops and mail-orders soon, so start saving!

Product: Fit Bike Co. – Limited Edition Chrome Moto Mike Frame

Fit Bike Co. have just released a limited edition run of Chrome Mike Aitken signature Moto Mike frames! This 4130 chromoly frame is made right here in the U.S.A with a 75.25-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.66″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and a 13.35″ – 13.875″ chain stay length. You can gussets on the top and down tubes, a butted top tube, a busted seat tube, straight gauge, tapered single-bend chain stays and ultra tapered seat stays with plenty of clearance for 2.40″ tires, heat-treated dropouts that have longer slots for adjustment room, removable brake mounts and an integrated seat post clamp.

The Moto Mike frame is available in 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths with color options of Limited Edition Chrome, translucent Smoke black and translucent gold with a weight of 4.87 lbs.

Product: Subrosa Brand – Villicus Prime II Frame

With the release of Subrosa Villicus Prime II promo video, we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look at the frame and see just what’s so good about this BMX frame! This 4130 chromoly frame has a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 8.75″ stand over height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height and a 13.5″ chain stay (centered in dropout) length! You can find a gusset on the down tube, double butted top and down tubes, an investment cast wishbone for the chain stay bridge and an investment cast bridge on the seat stay bridge, flat ended seat and chain stays at the drop out for better clearance for hub guards, laser cut 6mm thick drop outs with integrated chain stays, an integrated seat post clamp and removable brake mounts!

The Noster III is made from 4130 Sanko chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and a 13.75″ chain stay length (13.50″ slammed). The frame features a double butted top an down tube, a CNC machined, T5 Deathproof heat-treated Integrated head tube, a heat-treated Mid bottom bracket, an Internally butted seat tube, S-Bend chain stays for 2.40″ tire clearance, heat-treated, laser cut 6mm thick drop outs to fit 34mm diameter pegs and an integrated seat post clamp. This frame does NOT have brake mounts.

Sneak Peek: Mutiny Bikes – New Obscura Frame Colors

It looks like Grant Castelluzzo’s signature Obscura frame from Mutiny Bikes will be available in two new colors later this month; translucent red and matte black! The Obscura frame is made from 100% 4130 Sanko chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.95″ standover height and 13″ (slammed) chain stay length. The Obscura frame comes in top tube lengths of 20.2″, 20.5″, 20.8″ and 21.1″ with a weight of 5 lbs. (20.6″).

Industry – Ryan Taylor “Taylor Made” Frame Promo
