Product: Sunday – 2013 Rooster Frame

August 19, 2012

Sunday are retiring the Conductor frame and introducing a new frame to their line up for 2013. The Rooster is a frame designed for the trails riders out there. The chromoly frame with post-weld 41 Thermal heat-treating has a head-tube angle of 74-degrees, seat-tube angle of 71-degrees, an 11.625″ bottom bracket height and a 13.75″ – 14″ chain stay length. You can find Sunday’s classic gusset on the down tube, removable seat stay brake mounts and the Director style wishbone for a stiffer back end. The Rooster will be available early in September in top tube sizes of 21″ and 21.25″ with Dr. Pepper for the only color option and a weight of 4.7 lbs.

Since this frame features the 41-Thermal heat-treating, it comes with a lifetime warranty that you can find out more about right here.

Product: Sunday – 2013 Broadcaster Frame

August 16, 2012

Here’s a look at the new 2013 Broadcaster frame from Sunday. This frame is designed with the technical street rider in mind with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, a lower 11.5″ bottom bracket height and a short 13″ to 13.25″ chainstay length. The Broadcaster also features the Wave down tube, hollow drop outs and removable brake mounts.
You might have noticed we didn’t mention that this frame has 41-Thermal heat treating. That’s because this one does not have heat-treating and does not offer the lifetime warranty that the other 2013 frames from Sunday offer. However, this is what creates the low price tag. You can pick one of these frames up $299.99. Just a little heads up, most frames aren’t heat-treated or offer a lifetime warranty in the first place….
The Broadcaster frame will be available in 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths with Midnight blue for the color option and a weight of 5.25 lbs. coming early September.

Product: Sunday – 2013 Funday Frame

August 15, 2012

This 41-Thermal heat-treated frame has a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and a 13.25″ – 13.50″ chain stay length. The Funday also features the Wave down tube, angled removable brake mounts, the Director style wishbone, post weld machining of the bottom bracket and head tube for a precision bearing fit, hollow drop outs and integrated chain tensioners. Aaron’s frame also comes with the lifetime warranty which you can find out more about right here.

The frame will be available in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 4.75 lbs and Vapor Blue for the color. Odyssey will have a matching Vapor Blue parts kit coming out with this frame as well. This frame will be available in September.
