Adam LZ at Woodward East
Adam LZ recently spent a few weeks out at Woodward East not enjoying working, but he did manage to film a ton of dialed footage during his visit! Check out some of his best clips from his 3 week stay rolled into this one!
“Some of my favorite clips and favorite tricks that I got at Camp Woodward. Although this video is a product of me rushing around the last day to stack clips, I don’t think you can easily tell. I continued the tradition of flyout enders, bring on the hate.
Song: “How it Starts” – The Features
This is the fourth “Adam LZ @ Woodward” video I’ve made. I love making these because it is a really easy way to compare where I’ve been at each year in terms of how I ride and the tricks I do. There should have been one last year, but I was too old to be a camper and they wouldn’t give me a job. This year I got a job and was able to stay 3 weeks, but it was nothing like I expected. I absolutely despise working for people, so much that I started my little clothing business just so I wouldn’t have to get a job during school. You’re correct if you think I did not find it very fun having a boss who assigned me to life guard skateparks for 6 hours a day and let me ride something like 2 hours, especially for about $3 an hour. I came to camp to teach kids tricks, not to watch skateboarders try boardslides and kickflips all day. I didn’t film nearly as much as I would have liked to because I spent most of my few hours off riding. Thankfully they let me be an instructor my last week and I had a bit more free time and actually got a chance to teach kids tricks, which is what I came to camp to do. Regardless, I was able to hang out with a lot of friends I don’t get to see and I met a bunch of new people so that was enjoyable. Would I work there again? Probably not, but I would love to go back and visit camp some day as a visiting pro (if they ever let me).”
