Josh Betley: Goodbye to the Team – More BMX Videos
Josh Betley lost his shoe and frame deal this year, but with videos like this, hopefully some brand will pick him up soon! Josh has always done unique stuff, but this edit seems to push it one step farther in creativity and difficultly. At the same time, I get the impression he’s not stressing over it and is probably having a blast, which isn’t always the case when the camera is on you.

They are Nathan Williams, Shane Weston, Geoff Slattery, Darryl Tocco, Chester Blacksmith and Sean Burns. This, the final part is with Sean Burns. We visit his hometown, see where he grew up and ask him a few questions on the pain he ultimately inflicts upon his body each time he rides.

“While I can’t say for sure, it must be an incredibly rare opportunity to 100% relate to and share a hobby with your dad. Some dads golf, fish, or hunt, while their kids BMX or skateboard, and there usually seems to be a disconnect in “getting it” on both parts.
Kent has held the title belt as the nicest guy in Georgia BMX for many years. He’s always the guy to roll over and give you props, whether he knows you or not. His son Mason has come up in the Georgia scene with a shared respect for BMX, and it’s always a genuinely good time to shred with these guys. Mase has progressed so much in the years I have known him, and Kent never fails to blow my mind with his front brake magic. Justin is super dialed, he killed this park with ease. With grinds going both ways, his spins going both ways he made it to that 5 bucks with little to no effort killing everything in his way. Oh wow… I haven’t heard “Team Iowa” in years. This is a little flashback Bobby Parker put together featuring two of the Midwest’s finest crews going head to head and destroying street spots! Who wins? Well, watch the video to find out… even though it doesn’t matter because the riding kicks ass regardless!
“The original date on this file says Dec 30th, 1969. Something tells me that isn’t correct. I think this was filmed summer of 2007 and was edited for the Burly Jam 2007 after party. At the after party we announced the riders who made the finals for the next day and then showcased a series of “web videos,” although at the time that phrase had not yet been coined.
