A few months back, X-Games announced that after this year, they will be looking to move their annual event that has taken place in Los Angeles for the last decade (or so?) to other parts of the U.S. When they announced that, they decided to give different major cities around the country the opportunity to try and wow them in an attempt to get them to give them a shot at hosting one of the worlds largest known action sports events. Detroit is one place that has really been putting in some work to get their attention and the video above, in my opinion, is a hell of a way to wow the people making the decisions. I guarantee once you hit play you will end up watching all 5 minutes of this.
Plus, it has Matt Sparks in this! What a legend.
This is pretty rad. Tazz Hernandez recently spent some time at the Standard warehouse filming for these three quick commercials that give you a look around. If there’s one thing BMX could use more of these days, it’s Standard having a bigger presence in BMX again. Maybe this is the calm before the storm?
This is rad. Here’s a look at what went down at the Open Dutch Championship stop at the Helm Trails. What I’ve gathered from this video is that the Helm trails are a public trails spot and there was a bunch of riders from some young guns to the older guys who all came out for the day. Holland is doing something right, that’s for sure. Check it!
