Double peg hard 180’s are so hot right now, but at the same time I’m sure that there are tons of people that just haven’t got them sorted out yet. Jared Swafford gives you some real helpful advice in this TCU how to video and also throws in some extra tricks for fun, like a double peg to hard 180 whip!
Merritt – Brad Simms Bars Promo
Merritt Brad Simms Bars from Merritt Bmx on Vimeo.
Most of you know that Brad Simms stays on the road as much as possible, so it is only fitting that his signature bars are called “Where in the World”. Brad gets most of his clips for this edit in Indonesia, but brings it stateside to New York & New Jersey to wrap it up. Classic Simms throughout, including a manual 180 tap that will probably get your eyes open a little wider than usual.
Shawn McIntosh – How To “Rock Hop”
Skid related tricks have been picking up in popularity as of late. Fit’s Shawn McIntosh has put together a how to video for Ride to help you figure out how to do the 180 to halfcab variety.

Well… This is bound to make you all jealous as hell! Greg Illingworth has started working on a new video project called Make It Happen with the intentions of spending a year traveling the world with some of his friends you may have heard of. Over the course of the year, they will be dropping videos and previews of the trips that happen that will ultimately lead to a full-length video. This is the first teaser giving you a hint of what went down on the first trip that started in South Africa.

Our friend from Argentina, Agustin Glauber, sent through the latest mix edit he put together. Check out a bunch of the locals getting some time in at some rad street spots and a look at their own DIY spot they built that’s pretty wild. Overall, this is a real solid edit! Check it!
“Only Locals.
This spot is not a public ramp park, is our ‘backyard setup’.
If, while being there, we ask for money contribution, is because we need it (to get screws and such).
If, while being there, we ask for help with the working side of it, (helping to get plywood and dirt), is because the ramps need it.
If, you come and don’t help, then you wont ride.”
Red Bull – Dirt Conquers Teaser
I’m not sure how they’re going to bring all of this together, but it sounds like Red Bull is going to get wild in Mexico with the Dirt Conquers contest. Take a look at the trailer above.
“Red Bull Dirt Conquers sets the trend in the BMX world thanks to its unique concept of BMX disciplines mix: Street, Park & Dirt. Different kinds of BMX riders with completely different skills will compete the same day and on the same track built by Dave King!”
