The second stop of the Recon Tour went down last weekend at The Kitchen. The Recon Tour is an amateur contest, you wouldn’t know it by the level of riding.
Petey ‘Pabs’ Henkel Leftovers Edit
Petey ‘Pabs’ Henkel Leftovers from Tables and Fables on Vimeo.
This edit really is a breath of fresh air to me. In a time that far too often kids force drawn out lines just because it’s what ______ (fill in the top pro name of choice) does, Petey’s edit is mostly one trick clips. Given his style, you would expect some punk rock or metal, but once again Petey switches it up with the realest MC to ever do it: Big L. Props to this guy for doing things his own way.
The Daily Grind – Century Bar Promo
Troy Merkle really went in for his signature bar promo edit. As far as I can recall, it has been a while since the last edit from him. Now I see why. I’d say it was well worth the wait.
Nigel Sapriken Edit
Nigel Sapriken edit from Bleach BMX on Vimeo.
Nigel Sapriken spent just one day in Kelowna and came back with all of these clips. It may have been all park clips, but you can tell that his heart is in the streets. The last line is just silly, it’s so elaborate.
Monster – Dream Yard featuring Pat Casey
Damn… Who wants to be Pat Casey right now? Monster hooked Pat up with a wild new ramp setup in his backyard that they’re calling the “Dream Yard”. Check out Pat blasting this new setup in this new video!
“Leading the new generation of BMX athletes, Pat Casey’s talent and ability is only limited by the confines of his own mind. He recently collaborated with Monster Energy to produce a massive backyard super park. It’s called “Dream Yard”; a conduit for an artist to paint his most epic masterpiece. The 2012 X Games Bronze medalist has been hard at work developing his bag of tricks – his signature style combines big amplitude with technical variations and combinations as he pursues Gold at the 2013 X Games.

Deco – Mat Olson Video Bike Check and Update
Deco caught up with team rider, Mat Olson, to take a look at his current setup, find out what’s new with him and get a few riding clips to toss into the mix. Check this out because it’s definitely worth a look!
“Mat talks about his bike and shares what he’s been up to lately, traveling across the US on the #westboundandup tour. Good vibes and killer riding.”
Danny Josa Profile
For this weeks Monday edit from Ride BMX, they caught up with Danny Josa down in Australia where he has been spending his time lately cruising a ton of parks and enjoying the amazing weather. Take a look at this one for sure if you like style.
“Danny Josa recently spent three months in Australia getting a feel for what it’s like to live Down Under. With Gold Coast as his home base, Danny made his way up and down the country’s East Coast hitting as many parks as possible including Beenleigh, GC Compound, Newcastle, and more. Danny killed it at every spot he went to mixing smooth style with big tricks.
