The trip couldn’t have gone much better and Sam’s settled as part of the team.
Thanks to Simon for getting us all out there and to Pete for showing us about!

Also sorry about some of the audio our mic broke on the second day.”
Diogo Santos – Serial Camera Killer
It’s always rad to see some fresh footage from Diogo Santos. Here’s a fresh BMX video that’s loaded with creative and unique lines, a ton of great spots and some clean film work. Diogo’s style makes everything look so effortless and this video is a good reminder of that. Take a peek!

Conscience of what is a what is a human being and what is our specie is doing in this planet is constantly being created at the same time that the illusion of what it was is destroyed.

Vans BMX Street Invitational 2017 – Results + Highlights
Garrett Reynolds wins the 2017 Vans BMX Street Invitational!
Garrett Reynolds – 1st Place
Yesterday some of the top BMX street riders in the world made their way to the Vans skatepark in Huntington, Beach, California to battle it out! After all the crazy riding went down, Garrett Reynolds landed him in the top spot with Devon Smillie in 2nd place and Chad Kerley taking 3rd place. Above is a look at some of Garrett’s highlights and below you can find Devon’s and Chad’s highlights. We can imagine we’ll be seeing a flood of videos over the next few days showing everything else that went down!
“Garrett’s highlights were his whole runs, linking so many difficult combos back-to-back. He’s no stranger to winning a contest, and today he deserved another win against the best street riders in the world.
“PS Come Back” by Kaleidoscope”
Devon Smillie – 2nd Place
“Devon was heavily tipped to win in 2017 but he came in runner-up. His lines go on-and-on, and he’s super exciting to watch.
“Domesticated” by Chrome Pony”
Chad Kerley – 3rd Place
“Only Chad could get away with rocking a visor these days. He calls his bike “Milk”, and he can pop a bar-to-manual out of anything. Chad is really consistent and did qualify first but a close final score with the judges sat him back in 3rd.
“Chronic Smoke” by The Getdowns”
Johnny Raekes took the win in the AM contest as well! He was able to ride in the Pro contest later in the day because of that win.
FloriDeah Swampfest – Open Loop of Doom
If you caught the FloriDeah Swampfest Course Preview, you would have seen the ridiculous open loop that was built for the jam. As riders start pouring in and taking a few laps, it looks like everyone is starting to hover around the Open Loop that is taking a bunch of the guys for a ride. The guys that are doing it are saying it’s easy, but there’s a number of guys who got wrecked trying to figure this one out. Take a look at some of the “practice” that went down!
“I couldn’t think of a better title. On the day before the official jam at Flordeah Swampfest, the calm before the storm involved a lot of eating shit. Mat Olson has been the only one shredding this open loop and it took him doing it a couple times to get several people hyped enough to try it…and keep trying. And trying more.” – Ride BMX
2017 Moomba BMX Contest Highlights
Check out this highlight reel from the 2017 Moomba BMX Contest that went down at the Riverslide Skatepark down in Melbourne. It looks like this contest goes down as part of a bigger carnival event with rides and a ton of other stuff going on. This video gives us a look at what went down during the BMX contest and some of the smaller jams they threw like the highest bunnyhop. It looks like there was a ton of great riding to take in from the young guns to the pros and the big crowds were stoked on it. Take a look!
“The 2017 Moomba BMX was a show stopper, with riders coming from all over Australia to rip it up at the Riverslide Skatepark in the Alexander Gardens on Moomba Monday! What a way to finish the long weekend in Melbourne. All the riders tore it up it in the 15 and under, and the Open division held some absolutely jaw dropping tricks, with some never before seen stunts at the park.
What a day!

FloriDeah Swampfest Course Preview with Trey Jones
The FloriDeah Swampfest Jam is going down this weekend and it’s bound to be nuts. Here’s a video where Trey Jones takes us for a tour of the place giving us a look at the dirt jumps, all the crazy ramp set ups they built, a floating Subrosa Street Rail that is 73ish feet long and more! The closest thing we can think of that’s been this crazy of a course set up are the old Bone Deth Jams years ago, and they definitely didn’t have the threat of alligator or snake attacks at theirs. This is bound to be a wild time, so hit play and take it all in!
“Three millions dollars, Nate Wessel, and cutting-edge ramp construction have all come together to create this…the amazing Flordeah Swampfest Carnivàle of BMX. Walk with Trey Jones as he breaks down the features of this wonderland in this official UnPro course preview…” – Ride BMX
FloriDeah – Riding An Abandoned Skatepark
Trey Jones just dropped the latest episode of FloriDeah. This one kicks off with a look at some of the t-shirts for the FloriDeah jam that’s going down this weekend getting made, then Trey, Jabe Jones and Sean Ricany spend some time cruising the old Mesh Skatepark (we’re amazed there’s still ramps from that place left!) and the Oviedo park that is in much better shape. This is a pretty laid back vibe in comparison to some of the other crazy ones, but it’s still a good watch. Take a peek!
“Started off the day by printing some new FloriDEAH shirts! Then Sean Ricany, Jabe and I went and rode an abandoned skatepark that closed down about 7 years ago. The skatepark used to be called Mesh. Later on in the day, we rode Oviedo skatepark.”
