BSD – “Transmission” DVD Trailer

Here it is! BSD have just released the trailer for their upcoming “Transmission” DVD that will be landing worldwide starting July 25th! This video was kept pretty low key up until recently, so this is bound to be a super pleasant surprise for anyone that gives the video a watch! Above is the trailer that is packed full of some crazy clips and EXCELLENT film work. Needless to say, this is going to be an absolute MUST SEE! Get ready… Only 3 days to wait!

BSD – Are You Receiving Me? Glasgow Street Jam

Since BSD let the cat out of the bag about their “Transmission” DVD, it’s safe to say quite a few of us have been anticipating the video. Last weekend they had the world premiere over in the U.K and threw a big street jam in Glasgow leading up to it. Above is a video that BSD dropped giving you a look at the riding that went down throughout the day on a number of spots they cruised. You can check out riding from Alex Donnachie, Sean McGilly, Craig Sime, Cain Martin, Si Gibb, Marton Varga, Jonny Moffat, Felix Donat, Dan Paley and a few others! It looks like it might have been a little cool and cloudy, but plenty of heat came from the riding. Check it!

“Despite the Glasgow summer showers we got a big turnout and were able to hit up some rad spots , thanks to Unit 23 for letting us borrow an amazing flat rail and install it in a dry(ish) spot under the motorway in China Town, it really made the day…

Salute To The 4th Contest Flyer

As many of you know, every year we try and throw a big contest here in Minnesota at one of the skateparks. Last year we did two contests, one in the Winter and one on the 4th of July. After the contest on the 4th of July last year, myself and a few other locals and parents at the skatepark ended up forming a non-profit foundation to help repair and expand the local skatepark in Rochester, Minnesota. The Keep Pushing Forward Foundation was founded and we’ve been working toward our goal, which is a massive skatepark. Once again, we have teamed up with the Salute To The 4th event held by The Commission and the city of Rochester to throw another BMX and skate contest. Above is the flyer for the BMX contest that we’ll be throwing with proceeds from the event, plus donations all going toward the Keep Pushing Forward Foundation! We have a TON of great sponsors, so there will be a ton of prizes up for grabs!

The contest will be in a jam format with beginner, intermediate and expert classes. We will also be throwing a Subrosa Street Rail Jam as well! Practice and registration will kick off at 11 AM on July 4th at Silverlake Skatepark! We’ll be starting the Beginner classes (BMX followed by skate) at 1PM, Intermediate (BMX followed by skate) at 2PM, Expert at 4PM and the Street Rail Jam shortly after that wraps up!

There’s a brand new Bike Check up on the BSD website giving you a closer look at Dan Paley‘s fresh new Soulja setup that he’s running decked out top to bottom in BSD parts. Dan was off his bike for a few months due to a broken knee, so it’s good to see he’s finally back to riding. You can expect to see this bike being put to real good use sooner than later! Monster Energy – BMX Day 2016: Adelaide Flyer

If you haven’t heard, July 23rd is this years BMX Day. Monster Energy‘s The Street Series will be throwing jams all around the world to celebrate. Today they announced that Alex Donnachie and some of the BSD squad will be throwing a jam in Adelaide down in Australia! Things will be kicking off at Noon in the Victoria Square, so if you’re in the area, make sure you mark your calendars now! They will be announcing the next 4 locations this week, so get stoked!

BSD – “Transmission” World Premiere & Jam Flyer

Yesterday, BSD had released their first “Transmission” DVD teaser online to let everyone in on what they have been working on for the past two years. They just released a flyer announcing the world premiere they will be doing in part with a street jam on July, 9th over in Glasgow, Scotland! Get the full details below! We know we cannot wait to see this one!

“To celebrate the launch of Transmission we’re going to be holding a street jam in Glasgow on 9th July followed by the DVD premiere at SWG3, so come along to ride or just hangout with Leezy, DBG, Kriss, Alex, Jersey, Sam, Luc, Paley and the rest of the crew and party on into the wee hours…
Doors at 7pm, DVD on at 8pm, show is aged 14+, 18+ only after 10pm, party til 2am!!!

BSD “Transmission” DVD Teaser

In this day and age, it’s pretty amazing that a team can keep word that they’re working on a full-length video under the radar for two whole years. The crew over at BSD have just released the first teaser for their new “Transmission” DVD that will be dropping in July. This teaser doesn’t give anything away as far as riding goes, but with a line up like the BSD squad has and knowing that Dave Sowerby is behind the filming and editing, you can count on this BMX video to kick a ton of ass. Get ready!

“Transmission – BSD’s first full length team video will be released worldwide on DVD in July 2016. Filmed across three continents and in over eight different countries, the DVD has taken over two years to make. It will feature full sections from pro team riders David Grant, Dan Paley, Luc Legrand, Kriss Kyle, Mike ‘Jersey’ Taylor, Sam Jones, Alex Donnachie, Reed Stark and Liam Zingbergs and is filmed and edited by Dave Sowerby.

Grant Smith, Owner of BSD, commented: “This is the longest, biggest and most exciting filming project BSD has ever taken on and it’s a relief to be able to finally announce the news. It took a massive team effort from everyone involved in the BSD crew and we hope that people are as excited by the finished product as we are.”

The world premiere of Transmission will be held in Glasgow on Saturday 9th July, more details on that to follow over the next few days.
