Ciao Crew – Lukas Hausler In Copenhagen

March 22, 2021

The Ciao Crew have released this fresh video featuring Lukas Hausler, along with a few guest clips from Adrian Kölz and Georg Senger, cruising the streets of Copenhagen! This video has a super laid back vibe, but the riding is real solid. Hit play to watch Luas put his pegs to work!

Ciao Crew – Bruno Hoffmann “Solitude”

June 9, 2020

It’s always a good day when Bruno Hoffmann has a new BMX video to check out! Here’s his latest for Ciao Crew from some of the sessions he has been getting in, in the streets of Frankfurt, Germany after the shutdown quieted the streets. Needless to say, Bruno took full advantage of the added room to work with! Hit play and enjoy!

“While the whole world was on pause during the Corona outbreak Bruno decided to make the best out of a bad situation and hit the empty streets of Frankfurt. Local regulations at that time only allowed groups of two persons interacting in public so while most of the population just stayed in, him and Merlin headed out into the almost abandoned city to enjoy the quietness of Frankfurt’s usually overcrowded street spots as well as the gems that were previously dubbed unrideable because of overzealous security guards and the resulting lack of time to be spent there. To say it with the words of Thomas Edison: „The best thinking has been done in solitude.“

Ciao Crew – HELLINIKON

March 24, 2020

It’s pretty wild that the Olympics for 2020 have been postponed until 2021. What’s also wild is seeing what old Olympic venues look like after things finish up and the event moves on to the next city. The Ciao Crew decided to take advantage of the abandoned Olympic stadium in Athens, Greece that was built back in 2004 and see what they could find for spots to ride. It’s safe to say the place is loaded with gems to ride and these guys had no issue stacking clips. Hit play and take a look at what the got into!

“With the 2020 Olympic Games officially being postponed to 2021 we present to you HELLINIKON. While BMX Park will be an official part of the next Games being held in Tokyo, Japan Bruno Hoffmann, Kilian Roth and Mo Nussbaumer teamed up with filmer Rich Forne and photographer Merlin Czarnulla to put a different spin on things and decided to reinterpret an existing leftover of the Olympic circus – the olympic canoe track of 2004.
After lying deserted for over 15 years in the birthplace of the Olympic Games the decaying canoe track now offers tons of possibilities to ride and film a BMX video.

Getting the clips they desired turned out to be quite a challenge due to heavy security surveillance of the Olympic venue and resulted in a week long game of cat and mouse with the local security guards patrolling the premisses 24/7.
The riders & media crew made the best out of this tense situation by figuring out a way to still be productive while constantly being on the edge hiding from security. At times it felt more like a real-life hide and seek rather than a regular session with the homies but that made things quite interesting to say the least.

A huge shout out to Red Bull Germany for their support and making this project a reality.

There is an in-depth article about HELLINIKON over on the RedBull website!“- Ciao Crew

Ciao Crew – Balkan Trotters

October 10, 2019

The Ciao Crew coming through with a video from a trip some of the crew took from Germany to Greece this past summer, cruising spots, taking in the sights and more! Here’s a look at what the guys got into throughout the trip in this chill edit with just over 5 minutes of footage to enjoy!

“For this trip Fabian Bader resurrected his trusty Dethleffs camper van, got Lukas Häusler, Christian Heger & Slaytanic on Board & drove all the way from Munich to Athens hitting up sick spots and epic scenery to feed Fabian’s VX on the way. Video by the man himself!”

Ciaolympics 2019

July 11, 2019

The Ciao Crew threw their annual Ciaolympics jam during the Blend Festival over in Frankfurt, Germany a few weeks back! As expected there was a ton of riders that turned out and no shortage of familiar faces that were out for the day of riding and good times! It looks like everything went awesome until the rain hit later in the day! Get a look at everything in this video from Freedom BMX! Also, apologizes for the poor Google Translate from German to English below.

“While at the BMX Worlds in Cologne, the Bro Hymn Pennywise mitgegrölt at the Dirt Contest and drove in the Ruhr at the Ruhr Games between cro and Bosse concerts miniramp and flatland, nodded at the Blend Festival in Frankfurt hard to Acts as Master Ace or OG Keemo, because the Ciao Crew guys wore the first Ciaolympics (Shoutout to Miguel Smajli for naming at this point) of the story on this busy June weekend.

Plan was, besides the normal Jambetrieb still rauszulallern some coal for daring stunts, which worked well. So it was not until the centerpiece that action was made for the Euros before it came to a fight between Jan Hollinger and Adrian Kölz in the epic manual battle (manual hurdles over pallets in a circle), which ended with a bunch of Bitchcranks and a draw.

Also undecided ended the Longest Wallride Challenge with Angelo Kurtz and Eddie Baum as winners. Both clarified awe inspiring 8m on the wall, but then decided that more approach and exit was not possible, and shared the coal. Unfortunately, only half of the round flatrail was able to be fulfilled, as the ground unfortunately did not give way anymore, but was conquered by Killian Roth on Ice 180. Speaking of Killian: the young German Cult rider still had Dakota Roche, Chase Dehart and Sean Ricany (who had already come in for the festival two days earlier) in tow, but they took it easy and indulged in the good vibes.

In general, there were only up to the lower leg fracture (!) Of Jonathan Malte Kress (Heal up, Brudi!) Just a good mood and one was next to the hustle and bustle at the Jam also like the hip-hop acts and let the sun on the fur shine. Everything else you will learn in our video.
