“After working hard on filming for the Colony DVD we wanted to play around with a web edit series that was a bit more relaxed, so the deal is…. The rider picks out a spot or park they enjoy riding and then they film ten clips at that spot. No pressure, just keep it fun and do things they enjoy doing.
Marnold messaged me one Friday evening keen to ride but we had no idea what to hit up, so I mentioned the ten clips plan and we thought out a couple spots that we could light up. We had never lit up a spot in a school before so we didn’t know how it was going to go down. We waited until about 7pm rolled in there with all the gear set-up and it was game on. There was a cleaner floating about on the grounds but he didn’t seem fazed at all by what we were doing so maybe we got lucky that night.

“Paddy Gross from Germany, gave us a disc with some left over footage he had laying around. Glen McLaughlin edited it into this little piece here. Enjoy.” – Colony

Tom Stretton has been killing it lately. If you have been able to see the new Colony video, you are more than aware of why everyone who has seen the video is psyched on his part. Tom was recently bumped up to the pro team for Colony as weel, so I figured he had a fresh new bike to work with. Let’s take a look at what he’s riding these days along with a few photos and videos.

I’ve been waiting for this one from Colony…

Next up in our Ten Clips series of video’s is Alex Hiam.
One of his favourite parks here in Brisbane is Fairfield, so we hit it up one weekday so it was a bit quieter, which it was but it was crazy windy at times. You can probably tell how windy it was in the background of some of the clips. Alex was keen though so we spent the afternoon filming this. Thanks to the locals for being patient at times.
Filmed and edited by Cooper Brownlee.
Additional filming: Rhys Yeomans.

Here’s the latest print ad from Colony. This time around it features Liam Zingbergs and their Agenda tires.

“Colony is pleased to present the King of the Jibs 2. A pure invite only BMX street comp held at Australia’s version of Interbike called Ausbike. 30 of Australia’s best street riders will be invited to ride a purpose built jibs course for a chance to share the $1,500 prize money.”
If you’re in Australia and you can get to this, you won’t be disappointed. Here’s some footage from last year…
Colony didn’t put the cameras down once the video was done. They will be dropping a new series called Ten Clips that is explained below. They’re starting off with Tom Stretton who had my personal favorite section from the DVD and I think his unique clips in this will give you an idea. Check out the DVD!

This is Tom’s local park so I knew this would be the place we would hit up for his Ten Clips. To mix it up and to work in with Tom’s work schedule, we got out the generator and filmed it at night whilst the local kids lurked in the background.
We moved the generator set-up around to each part of the park to film each clip which worked well.
