Connor Lodes OFF Kink

Kink have just announced they have parted ways with Connor Lodes…

Today we unfortunately are announcing that @connor_lodes will no longer be on the Kink Pro Team. We are extremely proud of Connors' Kink Redwood Signature Products we accomplished together, along with the savage footage he has accumulated with Kink over the years. Connor remains a good friend, and we wish him nothing but the best for his future on and off the bike! Here’s some news that might surprise some of you. Kink have parted ways with Connor Lodes and just made the announcement on Instagram. Connor had originally joined the team toward the end of 2014 and had a productive few years. He has been a little under the radar lately healing up from injuries and more, so we’re not sure why they decided to let him go, but it would appear they’re still on good terms. We are curious if they have plans of adding a new rider to the pro team to fill that spot… We could potentially see Casey Starling making the move up from the AM squad, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The full “Markit Zero” video is now online…

Here’s one we were tipped off about that we did not expect to see online. The first full-length video from Markit, “Markit Zero” is now online for your viewing pleasure. This video originally came out back in October of 2013 and hasn’t been available online until now. Even though this video is a little over 3 years old, it’s still absolutely amazing and the riding still feels ahead of its time with so many bangers. Everything from the riding to the film work, spots and Dennis Enarson’s old car exploding to a million pieces is amazing! Hit play and enjoy this one over and over again! There’s a reason this won a NORA Cup for BMX video of the year.

Connor Lodes has had a bit of downtime due to a string of injuries as of late, but it looks like he’s finally back up and running at full strength and was able to knock out the final pieces for this new Kink video! The Kink crew are always on the ball and it seems like always first to release their next years models of complete bikes. Today, they released their new catalog giving you a full look at their entire range of 2017 complete bikes from their 12″ Coast on up through to their Tony Hamlin, Sean Sexton and Connor Lodes signature complete bikes. You can take a look at the full range by hitting the catalog above. It looks like Kink have once again stepped things up with their full range of bikes and they look damn good.

“This is Kink BMX – Intervention. A culmination of riding from the entire Kink BMX team filmed over the last part of 2015. Filmed by Darryl Tocco, Dan Coller, and Calvin Kosovich in the Southwest USA, California, East Coast USA, Costa Rica, Barcelona, and Latvia. This was an effort to not only get the whole team together, and showcase Kink for 2016…but to also take some time to have fun, shed light on the intricacies of your favorite Kink riders, continue traveling, put a bangin’ soundtrack together, and hope that this project gets you motivated to ride each day you click play!

On top of that….We broke our own guidelines to the video…and present you a full scale, real deal, Dan Coller Video Part.
