Last year we got a look at how well Colt Fake and Darryl Tocco worked together for their X Games “Real BMX” 2016 part that was fueled with fire and madness that lead to the team winning the readers choice category. When the X Games announced the Colt and Darryl were back again for “Real BMX” 2017, we were instantly excited to see another round of complete madness! Today, we get a look at what these two were able to cook up for round two and it’s safe to say it was nothing short of incredible! Get on that play button!

Darry Tocco 2017 Show Reel

Over the years Darryl Tocco has been killing it on both sides of the lens as a pro rider and a professional filmer. What you might not know is that when Darryl isn’t bouncing around the world filming with the Kink team or tackling a Red Bull project, he’s filming out side of BMX at other events like concerts. Darryl decided to whip up some of his footage from the past year and put together this show reel giving you a look at the work he’s been doing. Take a look!

Kink BMX – A Day Down Under

The Kink team have cracked and decided to give you a V-Loggish style video for you vlog lovers out there. This is more or less just a raw cut from a full day the team spent in Brisbane. There’s a lot of hanging out and laughs, but there’s a little riding mixed in there for good measure. This gives you a good idea of just what it’s like when a team is out on a road trip stacking clips. There’s a lot more than goes into each of those clips that you see in an edited video. Check it! We have a feeling we’ll be seeing a beautifully filmed and edited video from the trip here in the next few days!

Kink – Rust Belt Tour Video

The Kink team loaded up for a road trip around the Rust Belt to visit skateparks and shops.

A few weeks back Chris Doyle, Tony Hamlin, Chad Osburn, Darryl Tocco, Jay Roe, Casey Starling, Travis Hughes, Dan Coller, Jake Petruchik and Marcus Christopher loaded up for a road trip to a handful of skateparks and shops around the Midwest. Here’s a video giving you a look at the riding and good times that went down on the trip. This video definitely has a Props vibe to it with the interviews, music and everything. This video turned out awesome, Darryl did an amazing job with this one. Check it all out! We would not mind seeing more BMX videos like this again.

Kink In Monterrey, Mexico

Some of the Kink team headed on down south to Monterrey, Mexico to hang out with the crew at Prisen Co.! Here’s a video from the trip down through boarder patrol to the riding that went down! Looks like it was a real good time to us!

Colt Fake Wins X Games “Real BMX” Fan Vote

The votes are in! Garrett Reynolds might have won the X Games “Real BMX” contest that was judged by Brian Kachinsky, Jeff Z., Mike Escamilla and Tony Hamlin, but the readers have chosen Colt Fake as the winner of the Fan vote with 31.17% of the vote! Garrett Reynolds came in second with 22.87% of the vote and Dakota Roche with 14.88% of the vote.

The Fan Favorite vote was a one-round, winner-take-all battle for glory where fans watched the videos below and voted for their picks to win. Colt Fake – Real BMX Section

If there’s one guy that is completely unpredictable and ready to send it on the gnarliest of setups, it’s Colt Fake. Check out his X Games “Real BMX” video part!

Although Colt Fake and Darryl Tocco don’t have as strong or long standing of a rider and filmer relationship than the other teams for “Real BMX”, it’s safe to say they had no problem synching up and getting on the same page for their X Games “Real BMX” part! Hit play to watch Colt take his insane riding to spots with Darryl’s super clean film work!
