These spline drive sprockets have been a hot commodity these days. Here’s Demolition‘s new Merit sprocket. This 6mm thick, 7075 aluminum sprocket is CNC machined with a new tooth design to allow better chain engagement and to prevent wear. The sprocket is available in a regular version with 4 sprocket hole bolts, or with the hardened steel splined insert that fits 19mm, 48 splined spindles. Weighing in at 1.9 oz, with 25, 27 and 28 tooth size options and black, gold or red color choices. Hit the Demolition site to see more.

Connor Lodes is another one of those dudes who has been blowing up the last year or so. There’s been a bunch of real good things being said about his clips in the new Demolition “Last Chance” video, and I’m not surprised since the footage that has hit the web from him lately has been real good. It sounds like he’s got some fresh sponsor stuff in the works too, so expect to see even more of him this year. I shot Connor a few questions to see what he is riding these days, a few extra questions to see what’s new, some real good photos from Brandon Means and some of the recent edits he was in. It would appear that Ian “Dyno” Beverley is now riding for Demolition over in the U.K. Here’s a nuts clip as a sneak peek for his welcome edit that’s in the works. Should be nuts if it’s anything like this.
Demolition posted up this new print ad for Ride UK‘s Issue 151 featuring Russ Barone and their new Merit sprocket.
“Volume / Demolition pro team member Daniel “Lil D” Martinez’s latest setup is street-ready, brakeless and judging from the way Daniel rides, very smooth. Recently, ESPN contributing photographer Tommy Blanco met up with Daniel to film some riding, and in between getting clips, Daniel ran through the finer points of his bike. And by the way, how many people in BMX can have the nickname “Lil” before we start confusing everyone? I think there are two “Lil” riders on the Volume team alone.” – ESPN
