Van Homan – French Transition Trip

October 16, 2017

Any time you send Van Homan anywhere, you know he’s going to produce. Van recently had the chance to make the trip back to France to spend six days exploring spots galore from skateparks to drainage ditches and more. Below you can see just what he got into during his short but productive time he had to ride and film!

“Filmed over only 6 days, and riding mostly DIY and natural spots, Van Homan revisits France and rekindles a special connection with the country that he first visited back in 1999, making some new memories along the way.

United X TBB – Vita Kacha 2017 Video

October 10, 2017

Here’s a fresh video featuring United Bike Co.‘s connect through TBB Bike over in the Czech Republic, Vita Kacha going to work on street spots. Vital is a grinding machine and puts all four of his pegs to heavy use on a bunch of rails and leges for this one. He also scoped out a bunch of rad spots that look super fun to ride

“Sometimes life doesn’t always go the way envisioned it, but it’s how you deal with the challenges that really count. Good DIG friend Víta Kácha knows all too well about challenges, dealing with a string of nasty injuries and a life changing car accident a few years back. “There’s usually some kind of personal error leading to an injury, so I try to learn from my mistakes and it basically helps me to grow wiser” and no doubt that has contributed to the quality of this new edit for United. Watch Víta’s last few years of clips, taking on some incredible spots, steep old rails and having fun the whole damn time.

Tempered Dynasty Crew – Dylan Steinhardt

September 29, 2017

The Tempered crew has been slowly growing with the addition of some of Australia’s finest. It looks like they’ve added Dylan Steinhardt to their Dynasty Crew and, after watching this video, it’s easy to see why. Dylan slays when it comes to charging big rails and ledges, sends it on some big drops and gaps. This is packed with some real solid riding. Check it out!

“No rail setup is safe when TMPRD’s new blood Dylan Steinhardt is in town! This starts off chill and then gets anything but that… there’s some serious wild man clips in this and all done with a smile. Loving this! Shout out to the Tempered boys.” – DIG

“Dylan is one of the new additions to TMPRD, forming part of the Dynasty crew and incredibly well deserved. It seems as though Dylan has only been kicking around, dirtying the Brisbane BMX scene up for a short while, but man, what an impact he has had already. He is quickly becoming one of my favourite people to ride with, and of course, film with also.

We started working on this edit back in February this year when a few of us tripped down to Sydney for the Vans bowl jam. At the last minute, Dylan decided he was coming, and we couldn’t have been more stoked. The dude went IN on the trip, and hasn’t stopped since. It’s been really awesome getting to work with someone not previously familiar to me. His approach with filming is mind blowing at times, his nonchalance for crazy set ups and his happy-go-lucky attitude continue to impress.

Dylan represents everything in BMX which is awesome and is someone I am super stoked to have apart of TMPRD. I can’t help but compare his riding to Jay Wilson, in being this skinny little mongrel of a thing being bucked around on his bike, barely holding on and pulling the wildest shit. It’s raw, loose and brimming with character, just the way it should be.

Ain’t no stopping the little bastard.” – Mike Vockenson

Business BMX II DVD – Matt Comeau Section

September 27, 2017

It’s time for another section from the “Business II” DVD for your viewing pleasure. This time around we get Matt Comeau’s section that is just shy of six minutes of goodness from the streets of Halifax. Matt is no stranger to putting his pegs to good use on every ledge and rail he comes across an this section is proof of that. Take a peek!

““Like Andrew, Matt was making trips to Halifax from Moncton every few weeks starting in 2015 to film for this. If you follow him on instagram you already know how much bike control he has. When he’s just screwing around on a spot he pulls off brain melting tricks like he’s not even trying. He’s just been hooked up by Fiend through OGC, so look out for more from him hopefully in the near future.”

“Business II is a scene video out of Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada that has been 5 years in the making. The entirety of this video was filmed on the east coast of Canada, featuring a long line up some of the most talented street riders in the Maritimes, with tons of different styles. We hope you enjoy it.”

September 25, 2017

If you’re looking for cranked turndowns and lookbacks, big tables, smooth lines and a little one handed manual action, this is the BMX video for you!

“GT’s Jay Cowley is one smooth operator at the trails and parks, so where better to send him for his latest edit than Malaga, Spain. Silky three toboggans, cheeky manual variations and a lotta lookbacks gets the thumbs up from us.

September 24, 2017

“The La Cribs shop crew from Montreal hopped down to NYC to hit up some classic spots and put together this rad video, including a nice appearance from the Brooklyn Banks.

“Business II” – Andrew Phillips Section

September 20, 2017

It looks like it’s time for the Business crew up in Canada to start uploading sections from their “Business II” DVD! To kick things off, we get a look at Andrew Phillips‘ section that is packed with grinds, some great setups and a lot of dumpster usage. Check it out!

““Business II is a scene video out of Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada that has been 5 years in the making. The entirety of this video was filmed on the east coast of Canada, featuring a long line up some of the most talented street riders in the Maritimes, with tons of different styles. We hope you enjoy it.”

Andrew is from Moncton, NB about 3 hours away from Halifax. The first day that Matt and Andrew came to Halifax to seriously film we ended up stacking like crazy and I knew they could easily film full parts. A handfull of roadtrips later and he filmed an almost 5 minute long section packed with bangers. He finished this section when he was 19. He’s a quiet guy that enjoys hard boiled eggs, haddock, pool, darts and tooth hangers. He’s also just released his first 35mm photo zine called “Oh That Spot” which is available for purchase on the Business BMX big cartel. He’s 20 now and we’ve got a lot in the works moving forward.

In The Cut – Animal In London

September 19, 2017

The other week we got a look at the Animal Bikes In London video. As you can imagine with a crew like Mike Hoder, Chase DeHart, Fathead and Malick Cham, there was plenty of good times and laughs had along the way. Here’s a raw cut with random footage and a few b-roll riding clips that didn’t make the cut. Take a look!

“Mike Hoder and Chase Dehart were in the UK for this year’s Street Series and decided to stay on in the big smoke with none other than the fatest of heads, Fathead and his Animal UK teammate Malick Cham. Don’t miss Hoder killing flies, some top commentary from big Al, Stockwell clips, Fooman’s fade, London tings and more.” – DIG
