Devon Smillie coming through with a fresh one for Eclat BMX….
If you’re looking for some serious freecoaster magic and grind combos, then you can always count on Devon Smillie to come through with the goods. Today we get a look at his latest video for Eclat kicking off 2018 with a bang. As expected, we get some unreal grind combos that mix in barpsins, crank flips, tailwhips, spins and more that will leave you scrolling back a time or two to see what just happened.

Darryl Tocco dropping some fire to start 2018 off with a bang with his final pro video part for Kink and Eclat!
If there’s one rider we always get stoked to see fresh footage from, it’s Darryl Tocco! Between his incredibly perfect barspins, buttery smooth style and the magic he whips up with his brakes, we are always pumped on what he has for footage. Here’s a fresh banger to start the year off right for Kink BMX and Eclat you cannot pass up! Amazing riding, super clean film work and some great spots. Unfortunately, this is also a bit bitter sweet because Darryl will be “retiring” after this video to focus more on the film work he’s been doing for the past few years. It’s not the last time we’ll see footage of him, but it’s the last time as a Pro for both brands. Definitely a bummer, but we had a feeling this might becoming as he has spent more and more time behind the lens.

Get some insight from Devon Smillie from a gnarly crash he took while filming for Socialites.
The other day we got a look at the video Eclat put together from their trip to Texas called Socialites. Here’s a little behind the scenes look at just why Devon Smillie didn’t have a ton of footage in the video. It turns out he took a gnarly crash and ended up having to go home early!
“If you already the caught the Eclat Socialites video you probably noticed that Devon Smillie only had one clip—followed by a quick cut of a super bloody shin. Well, here’s Devon explaining the freak accident that put him on the sidelines for the rest of the trip after the first trick he filmed. Devon ended up sticking around for another day and then decided to fly home early, so he could at least celebrate his upcoming birthday at home with family and friends instead of on the road with sore shin.

The Eclat team spent some time slaying spots in Texas for their new “Socialites” video!
It’s very obvious that the entire Eclat Pro team is seriously stacked, and here’s a good reminder of that! Yesterday we got some insight from Ty Morrow on what it took to get one of his clips for the Eclat “Socialites” video, now today we get a look at a battle Sean Burns went through. You win some and you lose some!
“When you ride the way Sean Burns does, you don’t want things to take a lot of tries. For Burns, it’s typically do or die. In a rare instance while in San Antonio on Eclat Socialites trip, Sean came across a feeble-to-wallride setup that didn’t want to come easy for him. Sean knows when to choose his battles and he managed to save himself for some much bigger victories that you’ll see when Eclat Socialites drops this Friday, Dec 22. ” – Ride BMX

Here’s a quick video where Ty Morrow gives us a behind the scenes look at what went into getting a clip on a spot in San Antonio. We always start to geek out this time of year because it is when a lot of the new products for the year start arriving. Today, Eclat dropped a new Bike Check with Dan Coller and his brand new setup that he’s rolling around on! There are a few key things like the prototype sample of what we would assume is Dan’s signature Contender frame from Kink, along with a handful of new parts from Eclat like the seat with a new drip logo and more.
