Eclat‘s TM, Paul Robinson, pulled out the Super 8 camera during the demo the team did in China during their Free and Sleazy trip. Above you can check out what went down. Who can spot the legend around 1:30 in the product toss? Haha
Product: Eclat – Wax
Here’s a look at Eclat‘s new wax they have out now. These 90x90x35mm blocks are made here in the USA by Lil Mikey Beeswax and come in colors of black, red, blue, green and pink. BMX brands supporting other BMX brands when they could probably go outside of the industry to make it cheaper is ALWAYS a good thing. Get your slide on. You can see more photos right here.
Eclat – Sean Burns Grip / Stem Commercial
Holy hell! The gaps Sean Burns does in this new Eclat commercial are soooo gnarly! You need to see this.
“Sean Burns clips are something else, possibly one of the craziest riders on the planet. We love him.
His signature line of products are available worldwide.

Eclat – Free & Sleezy Tour: Part II
About time Eclat dropped this! So damn good! You need to see this! Nathan Williams, Sean Burns, Darryl Tocco, Chester Blacksmith and Iz Pulido in Shanghai!
“At the start of this year we chose three diverse destinations around the world to go visit and for no other purpose than riding our bikes, hanging out and seeing the world in all its weird and wonderful glory. In April of this year we hit up our second destination.
Shanghai was ours for 12 days and 11 nights and we had over 2,448 square miles to cover, 16 districts, 210 towns and sub districts to explore and ride.
12 days really wasn’t quite enough, but we battled the smog, heat waves and traffic and came away with a positive feeling about China and its riding community.
The following video explores our time spent in China, our first and last impressions. Filmed and edited by Will Evans.
Special thanks to Kane, Kenji (iBMX) George Jackson and the CNBMX collective. Without them we would have been lost in the depths of China forever.
Full feature out in DIG Issue 89.
In celebration of our time in China we updated our microsite featuring the photography of Andrew White. Check it out at eclatbmx.com/freeandsleazy”

Eclat – Shane Weston “Moon Grip” Promo
Eclat dropped this new promo video featuring Shane Weston and his signature grip. I normally hate dropping hints of what’s in the edit, but that fricken bunny hop cannonball blew my mind! And that’s just one of the wild tricks in the video…
“A while ago we started working on a different kind of grip, but we wanted to make something a little more special than the standard flange design. We were experimenting with rubber compounds and grip patterns when Shane got involved and told us he’d be really into a flangeless grip with a symmetrical shape that had a bigger, chunky grip pattern. The circular grip design was underway, but everything dropped into place when we added a sand-blasted texture to the grip. Suddenly they weren’t circles any more, but craters on the surface of the moon! Shane was really into it and so the Moon grip was born.
As this grip had such a unique look there was no way we could use our normal bar end with it. So, with Shane we worked up a design which blended perfectly into the style and shape of the grip and the rest is history.
The final compound is a really soft 23° durameter, high quality Kraton rubber. It’s both soft and comfy but at the same time feels sticky with loads of grip. At 150mm long it looks awesome on a wider bar, and the tighter 19mm internal diameter means there’s plenty of life in them too!
This is the first product in the Shane Weston series, expect something really special in 2012.
