Here’s one we’re sure a ton of people are going to be stoked on! Bob Scerbo has decided it’s time to release the full “Skapegoat #11” video online now that the DVD’s have sold out and they have no plans on making more! This is 14 minutes of pure goodness from Austin, Texas with some of the final sessions on the T1 ramp before it was torn down with no shortage of familiar faces from Joe Rich and Garrett Byrnes to Sergio Layos, Brian Hunt, Tom Dugan, Joseph Frans, Clint Reynolds, Matty Aquizap, Will Blount, Adam Baker and many more. It’s a bummer that the ramp is gone, but this is an awesome way to remember it. Hit play and take it all in!

It was time for Kareem Williams to build up a new bike, so he had S&M Bikes send him the goods to Empire BMX so he could built it up. Well, it turns out that Kareem has NEVER built up his own bike before, so he had Tom Dugan show him how to do it. This video will make anyone who likes working on their bike struggle and possibly squirm a little bit as Kareem tries to figure this all out. Hit play and take a look!

Cult coming through with a highlight reel from the Born & Raised contest in San Diego!
The guys over at Cult sent through this highlight reel from the Chase Hawk Born & Raised contest that went down in San Diego this past weekend. This contest is for the AM riders and it drew out a ton of talent that showed everyone what they had! Hit play for all the highlights, plus a few extras from some riding time the guys got into outside of the contest while riding ditches and a few other spots.

As you have probably heard by now, last week Chris Doyle collapsed and went into Cardiac Arrest and nearly died during a Kink trip in New Mexico. Fortunately Chris made it through the traumatic experience and is on the up and up recovering now. The medical bills have been piling on from the hospital stay and everything that went into getting him back to health, so the crew at Empire BMX have this new Chris Doyle T-Shirt with a photo by Rob Dolecki of Chris cranking one of his signature turndowns, and these new Chris Doyle Kicks Major Ass stickers available with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Chris and his family to help with the expenses! Empire BMX giving us a look at what the squad they sent to the Florideah Swampfest got into!
The other week a heavy crew from Texas loaded up and made their way to the FloriDeah Swampfest courtesy of Empire BMX! Here’s a video that Empire just dropped featuring Aaron Ross, Joseph Frans, Lucas Schaller, Devin Fredlund, Jeff Wescott and Dylan McCauley out cruising street spots and skateparks during the trip. This is a mix of riding footage and some of the fun they got into off their bikes. Based off the video, it looks like they had a damn good time and managed to pack a ton of stops into their trip. Oddly enough, it doesn’t have any actual footage from the Swampfest, but there’s already 20ish videos online from it anyway. Get on that play button and check it all out!
“In retrospect, the idea didn’t seem especially novel. Get a nice mix of riders together to represent some of the brands housed in our facility on N. Lamar, throw them in a van with no clear vision or schedule, and see what transpires on the road to Swamp Fest
We’re not here to change anyone’s mind about what a BMX video should be, how it should be conceptualized and executed, or the scientifically determined mix of riding and B-Roll to keep the mainstream viewer engaged enough to continue viewing past the algorithmically determined “just right” number of seconds. We just wanted the crew to hit up Swamp Fest, respectfully represent Texas, and maybe throw down some hammers along the way. With a cast made up of Aaron Ross, Joseph Frans, Lucas Schaller, Devin Fredlund, Jeff Wescott, and Dylan McCauley, all under the talented eye of Jeremie Infelise, they made us proud. The crew braved a tornado and multiple Hurricanes, but completed their appointed task: have fun, shred spots, and return the rental van undamaged and with the contractually obligated amount of fuel in the tank
