Damn! This is badass. Turns out Chris Doyle has a cousin that kicks a lot of ass and even used to be a pro BMX rider! Check out this video Empire dropped from a trip down to Florida Chris took to hang out and ride with his cousin, Roger Sullivan, recently. So awesome.

As it turns out, Chris Doyle, one of the most prolific and talented riders of our time, has a cousin named Roger Sullivan who was a professional BMX rider in the late 1980s. I had to learn more about this highly unlikely family connection, so Chris and I headed down to Florida to meet up with Roger, hang out, and ride bikes with this BMX legend from the past.” – Walter Pieringer

Empire – Welcome To Texas Happy Hour Flyer

Tom over at Empire just sent over the flyer for the “Welcome to Texas” Happy Hour they’re having at the shop on Thursday, October 17th to help kick off the Texas Toast Jam! They’re going to be premiering a video that Devon Hutchins has been working on featuring Chase Hawk, Dylan Smith, Tommy Dugan, Tom Smith, Aaron Ross, Hanson Little, Nathan Hostick, Ryan Smith, Justin Kee, Joseph Frans, Mat Houck and Devin Fredlund. They will also have a screen printing setup for people to make their own t-shirts for $10! Beer, food, a rad video, good people and more. All I know is that I hope my friggen flight gets me down there in time to make it to this!

Morgan Wade is one of those riders who I’ve always been so stoked on. The things he has done on his bike over the years has never failed to blow my mind and he continues to do it every time I see something new from him. About a year ago when the economy started getting tough, Morgan was one of those guys who didn’t have the best of luck when it came to sponsors budgets and it was pretty crazy to think that people would have to let a guy like him go. However, over the past few months, things have been coming back around and Morgan has really started to get that shine time he deserves again. With the news of him joining the Hoffman Bikes team and a few other sponsors, hitting the podium at X-Games a few times and his latest edit that blew everyones minds, I figured it was time we caught up with the man to find out what’s new.
