Mike Tag Cancer Benefit Edit
“In April, lifetime FBM rider and street riding pioneer Mike Tag was diagnosed with Stage ll Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The BMX community quickly rallied to support Tag’s cause. Benefits were organized and money was donated to help pay for his chemotherapy. And currently, Tag is still undergoing chemo, and the doctors believe he is showing improvement.
Earlier this month, FBM organized a benefit jam for Tag at the East Shore Skatepark in Ithaca, N.Y. They never made it into the park, but fun was had by all and all proceeds went to Mike Tag’s cancer fund, which is still accepting donations. And yes, this is the only video this year that you will see both the Cookie Monster and Dennis Condusta riding BMX bikes in. Video by Stew Johnson.” – ESPN
Craig Passero – Not My Spot
“Typically, we do “My Spots” videos with pros that ride their go-to spot and discuss the inner workings of the place they call home. Stranger/Lotek pro Craig Passero, according to video producer and teammate Charlie Crumlish, is “too modest to call it ‘his spot’ and hates talking in front of the camera.” So Charlie did what he could, and with his new setup, came out with a pretty wild edit for a pre-fab park somewhere in the depths of Long Island, N.Y.
