The Powers BMX Shop crew got their hands on the latest FBM Paradigm frame and they were so stoked that they put together this new promo video giving you a look at the frame, along with some real solid riding footage! Hit play and take it all in.
The annual Boyley Jam went down last weekend and, as expected, there was a big turn out and no shortage of wild riding going down on the sketchy ramps. Steve Crandall was running the mic and keeping the party going. The weather doesn’t look like it was the best, but it doesn’t look like it stopped anyone from having a good time! Check out everything that went down!
“The annual Boyley Jam collaborated with ourselves and FBM once again for another round of the FBM X DIG DIY World Championships and to ride and party in the name of Richard Ball. Needless to say, things were just as ratty and homemade as last year with a massive crew of riders and families venturing to Hastings to watch the mayhem. Sit back and enjoy another wild year.
Shout out to jam sponsors: 4Down Distro, Source BMX, etnies, Fuse, Seventies, H Town Skates, Two Snakes Tattoo, Spread Eagle Tattoo.

Steve Crandall doesn’t live in a van down by the river, but he does live in a pretty badass bus! Take a tour of the bus where Steve gives you a look at some of the finer details from the beds to the wood burning stove and more!
In its heyday, the FBM bus was literally fire beer and mayhem on wheels. This blacked out, FBM logo emblazoned, straight pipe exhaust attention grabber transported the FBM team up and down the East Coast and as far deep as Austin, Texas. After five years of road wear, the general unreliability coupled with the cost to maintain the beastly vehicle became too great and Steve Crandall hung up the keys for now. For the last two years Crandall has called the decommissioned vehicle home and has repurposed it into a live-in art studio complete with a wood burning stove. A BMX party bus turned serene creative space… Crandall walks us through the evolution of the FBM bus.

The FBM crew made their way to the swimming pool on one of the hottest days of the summer. Unfortunately there wasn’t any water, but Kaleb Bolton, Curtis Cantwell, Seamus McKeon, Declan Murray, The Hallahans and a handful of others were able to get plenty of riding time in. Check out what the guys threw down during the session.
The 3rd stop of the FBM X DIG DIY World Championships went down at the Whipsnake park out in the Carolina’s the other weekend. Despite some rain that kept things moist, it looks like everyone was able to get plenty of riding and good times in. This one looked more like a camping trip with friends than a contest, and that is what makes this so good. Hit play and take it all in!
“Deep in the cut of the US Carolina pine forests, completely off the grid and removed from normal society, sits a DIY/artist Shangri La of sorts, known as Whipsnake.
Built by underground DIY champion Tom Risser, this low-key spot showcases acres of his eclectic metal sculptures and this homemade concrete wonderland…
Miles from anywhere, and conveniently located right in-between somewhere and nowhere, we posted up for a weekend campout, for stop 3 on the FBM X DIG DIY World Tour, enduring mosquitos, coyotes, hundred degree weather, intense summer storms, and believe it or not, no phone service. Pack it in, pack it out, bring what you need, and leave with what you brought, minus a gallon or so of sweat, some blood, and whatever was inside the cooler…
Places like Whipsnake are wildly different than pre fab local parks, and most public spots, primarily known by word of mouth, amongst people in the ‘know’, places like this are hallowed ground for riders who build their own spots to ride, whether it’s a ramps, a set of trails or DIY concrete park, spot building and maintenance adds another layer all together to the riding experience, and Whipsnake is pinnacle to that whole idea.
Build your own fun , throw a jam, bring the people together and share it with everyone… – Steve Crandall

The second stop of the 2019 DIY BMX Worlds went down at the FBM warehouse in New York during their open house the other weekend! Here’s a highlight video giving you a look at all of the action that went down from the sketchy setup outside to the ramps inside. This looks like it was an absolute blast and we’re 69% sure the winner got like 420 points toward getting on the U.S Olympic team. Take a look!
“Forget that Olympricks training schedule and get yourself some DIY action at FBM. Bikes, ramps and rails all made by BMX kooks in Ithaca NY…
