BMX Park Finals Highlights!

“The dirt contest at the Butcher Jam 2023 turned into a veritable storm of tricks again this year. Apparently, Daniel Sandoval and Kaden Stone had an agreement to basically do Truck to Oppo Downwhip on the first jump. It’s easy, of course…

But even beyond that, bangers were thrown out every minute, although unfortunately there were quite a few hangups at the last landing this year, which was probably due to the fact that the converted line was not really fine-tuned.

Quite apart from the new wooden jumps, with which you certainly won’t win a realness award and insofar you can definitely have divided opinions about them. But despite all the criticism, it’s also clear that these circumstances definitely didn’t detract from the action.

You can find out everything else in our video from the witches’ cauldron of the Schlachthof BMX and skate park in Flensburg.

“As a warm-up for the first party of the Butcher Jam 2023, the completely renovated street area in the slaughterhouse in Flensburg was dismantled and two kegs of free beer were drunk (thanks @SIBMX).

Dream Session At Hellsend Dirt Compound

March 28, 2023

Check out a heavy session at the Hellsend Dirt Compound!

Here’s an awesome video Freedom BMX put together from a session at the Hellsend Dirt Compound in South Africa where a bunch of heavy hitters rolled in for a proper session. Check out what went down with riding from Kevin Peraza, Boyd Hilder and more! This place looks like a ton of fun to ride!

“Before the “Ultimate X” contest in Kapstand started, @MonsterEnergy invited to a relaxed session on the trails of the legendary Hellsend Dirt Compound. You already know that is the bike park where, among other things, the Darkfest takes place.

After the BMXers had examined the huge mountain bike lines (uff!), it was off to the dirt jumps, where an official session developed in the South African evening sun in front of an epic backdrop, with Kevin Peraza, Anthony Jeanjean, Mike Varga, Tom van that Boggard and Boyd Hilder massaged the hills. Incidentally, the latter was on a borrowed bike that was completely different from his personal set-up, which the airline he had traveled with had unfortunately wasted away somewhere.

After the session, Monster donated a big barbecue and hectoliters of cold drinks on site. Thanks a lot for this! We can only agree with the French Quinton Morlen, who said on the way back to the hotel: “This was one of the best days of my life!”

PS: A much longer raw edit from the session at Hellsend Dirt Compound will follow shortly. Stay tuned!

Traffic Distribution – Marius Stoll Welcome Video

March 27, 2023

Marius Stoll is now doing it for Traffic Distribution in Germany!

Traffic Distribution in Germany have added Marius Stoll to the team. Here’s a short but sweet video welcoming Marius to the crew with plenty of lines and combos filled with grinds.

“The experts among you already know: Marius Stoll has been on the road via @trafficbmx1536 for @KinkBMX and @eclatbmxbrand for some time. In his welcome edit, the passionate helmet wearer throws out a few things that are so technical that you only really understand them after watching them a second or third time.

In this respect, it is not surprising that he will be present at the Simple Session for the first time this year. We wanted to know from Marius how this came about, why it took so long with his welcome edit and why he always wears a helmet. So first watch the video above and then read the interview on freedombmx.de: https://freedombmx.de/top-stories/mar…

Tempered – Fabian Bongers Welcome Video

March 23, 2023

Fabian Bongers is now doing it for Tempered!

Tempered have added Fabian Bongers to their team over in Germany! Here’s a short but sweet video from a park session to bring the news. This one is pretty laid back, but we’re sure we’ll be seeing plenty more of Fabian in the future!

“Congratulations go out to Fabian Bongers! He’s new to @TemperedGoods X @SIBMX and to celebrate the day he’s dismantling the Lohserampen in Cologne. So far, so unusual, not to mention the banger. We really wouldn’t have expected that from him, in all honor of his nickname Big Boom Bongers. But Fabian is a real all-rounder and fits in perfectly with the Australian BMX brand. There they don’t think much of technical idiocy either, but mix disciplines and styles in the way that works best. So this could be the beginning of a long and happy love relationship. We keep our fingers crossed!

PS: A new bike check with Fabian is in the works. Stay tuned!

Fiend – Fabian Bader Does Australia

March 8, 2023

Fabian Bader spent some time down in Australia!

During a recent trip down to Australia, Fabian Bader went to work stacking clips on all the spots Raphael Jeroma-Williams had loaded up for him. Fabian ended up stacking a ton of great clips and ended up with this new one for Fiend for you to enjoy. Get on that play button and take a look!

“For all those of you who didn’t notice: Fabian Bader was recently in Australia for two months to visit his homie Raphael Jeroma-Williams and escape the German winter at the same time. A good decision, because Raph is one of the best people ever and Down Under is really great to live with at this time of year.

In addition to surfing, tattooing and beer drinking sessions, the two also had time to ride a lot of bikes and stack recordings for a new edit by Fabian. In this context, the term “holiday video” would normally be used, but the clip yield of the two has only marginally to do with it. Because in contrast to Fabian, most of us would not associate “going on vacation” with tough film missions.

Mr. Bader, on the other hand, has definitely treated himself hard! Consequently, in addition to a lot of good vibes in the video above, there are also tons of really hot grind sports to see. Not to mention the guest clips from Lewis Mills and Dylan Steinhardt.

In short: If this video is not nominated for the freedombmx Awards 2023 in a few months, it would be a blatant injustice. With that in mind, you know what to do!
