It’s good to see GT Bicycles making moves again. Here’s a BMX video welcoming Maxime Bringer and Timothe Bringer to their squad in France through Frenchys Distribution as they spend some time putting their crazy bag of tricks to use at the La Poma trails in Spain! Amazing riding, dialed film work and a great spot.. Can’t go wrong with this one!

Jeremiah Smith Off GT Bicycles

The sponsor news is starting to flow! With the start of the new year just around the corner, contracts are expiring and the shake ups are happening! Jeremiah Smith announced VIA Instagram that he will no longer be riding for GT Bicycles in 2016. We’re not sure how things went down, but he leads us to believe there must have been a little tension since he was “proud” to announce the news.

Sneak Peek: GT Bicycles – 4-Piece Bars

December 11, 2015

Last year, GT Bicycles announced that they were working on a re-vamped version of their original 4-piece bars, with more modern geometry. Although they’re still in the prototype stage, it appears they’re getting closer to release. They just dropped a post on Instagram giving us all the specs – 9″ and 8.6″ rise, 29″ width, 9-degrees of backsweep, 5-degrees of upsweep and color options of black, chrome and raw, with “Fingers crossed all goes smooth with this round of testing and I can give these the green light!”… Which leads us to believe these should be hitting production real soon. We’ll keep you posted when we hear more!

We swung by the GT Bicycles booth toward the end of the 3rd day of Interbike 2015 to catch up with our good friend and GT product designer / freestyle team manager, Ben Ward to catch up and to get a closer look at their full range of 2016 complete BMX bikes, a prototype frame and a handful of prototype parts from bars to cranks to a stem and more. A little while back, the GT Bicycles crew consisting of Rob Wise, Brian Kachinsky, Jeremiah Smith, and Jason Phelan made a trip to Kansas City, Missouri of all places to see just what the city had to offer for spots. Based off this banger of a BMX video, it’s clear these guys had no problems finding shit to ride! Take a look!

Brian Kachinsky Bike Check

If there’s one guy that we always love catching up with, it’s Brian Kachinsky. Brian is always getting into something new and exciting and is never slowing down — unless he’s taking a gnarly slam, which happens from time to time. Brian recently joined the GT Bicycles team and we’re pretty excited about that because it seems like there has been a lot of energy going back into that program over the past year. We had noticed a photo of his bike a little while back and spotted a handful of prototype parts on it, so we figured now was a great time to catch up with Brian and take a closer look at the BMX bike that he calls his these days. Jason Phelan Interview

There’s no denying that Jason Phelan is one of those riders that is always awesome to watch ride because you don’t really know what to expect when he drops in. Over the years, he’s blown our minds time and time again between crazy stunts off the bike to some damn amazing riding on his bike. 2015 has been an interesting one for Jason so far, leaving long time sponsor Wethepeople, being let go from Nike and now joining the GT Bicycles team that has really gotten some fire behind it lately.
