GT – Camp Vibes

September 3, 2021

The GT team recently spent a week out at Woodward East riding all the parks, plazas and trails, and hanging out with all the campers! Here’s a 23 minute mix giving us a look at the riding and good times that were had! You know this squad always delivers!

“After over a year of solo acts, it was awesome to get some of the band back together. Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Demarcus Paul, Jeff Purdy, Julian Molina, Chelsea Wolfe, and Mason Ritter had four incredible days at Woodward East, shredding everything in their path, kicking it with the campers, and enjoying the camp vibes.

GT Bicycles – Michael Dickson Welcome Video

August 13, 2021

GT Bicycles added Michael Dickson to their squad over in Scotland a little while back, and now he has a proper welcome video for you to check out from the streets! Prior to this, we weren’t too familiar with Michael, but it’s super easy to see just why GT picked him up after watching this one! Watch as he puts every rail and ledge to work, along with some gaps and drops. Plenty of grinds, whips and more to enjoy in this one, so get on it!

“After adding Michael Dickson to the GT squad a few months back the dude got to work immediately. He took his powerhouse style to the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland, and put together this heavy video for his official welcome to the team!

Here’s some sponsor news for you! GT Bicycles have added Eric Bahlman to the squad! As some of you might remember, Eric rode for GT before getting on Volume Bikes about 11 years ago. Well, he’s back and it looks like he’s psyched. We would imagine this should mean we’ll be seeing more from Eric here in the near future, and that’s awesome news.

GT – Rumble In Richmond

July 16, 2021

GT Bicycles giving us a look at all the fun and good times that went down at the Rad Share Rumble In Richmond. Check out 20 minutes from the kids jam on the pump track to the Pro contest on the big double! This looks like it was a super good event, so hit play and take it all in!

“Giving away free helmets, helping get kids rolling on a dependable bike, and generally stoking the fire that is BMX… Rad Share is doing it right! When they first announced the Rumble in Richmond, an awesome fundraising event to help Rad Share reach more kids, GT was immediately onboard and ready to give back! We cruised into Richmond with some team riders and a bunch of stuff to give away—including a handful of complete bikes. We were fully prepared for the good times.

The day kicked off with the future of BMX… AKA, the kids jam. It was awesome to see a wide variety of riders—in both age and skill, riding together and shredding. Then there was the pallet grind obstacle, constructed courtesy of the Leeper bros, Latane Coghill, and Profile Racing. And finally, the main attraction was the one and only Rumble in Richmond. A nod to classic mid-school dirt jump contests, featuring a behemoth 26-foot set of doubles that required a full-speed sprint just to clear.

The level of riding was through the roof from the likes of Tommy Crail, Larry Edgar, Nathan Halahan, Chelsea Wolfe, Mykel Larrin, and more. But the culmination of the event belongs to GT’s own, Julian Molina. After he just squeaked over the massive jump with the assistance of a tow-in by Larry Edgar (which was an amazing physical feat for them both), Julian went to the moon when he got towed-in by a motorcycle! Julian’s triumph earned him the Best Trick win and it couldn’t have been a more suiting way to wrap up an incredible event. Safe to say, a lot of kids went home with some fresh parts (or even a new bike) and at the very least, a whole lotta stoke and motivation.” – GT Bicycles
