Back in 2009 when Chris and CB dropped the first AOTC video, they mentioned that they were already starting to film for the next video. Between all the school and work, they finally collected enough footage for their second video. This time around, the crew is similar, but with two more years of shred under their belt. I figured I’d hit up Chris and CB and find out what it took to get this video done, and what you guys out there can expect if you pick up a copy. Let’s see what they had to say…

Insight: FBM Bellwitch Frame

If you caught Tom Blyth‘s interview we had on here a few weeks ago, then you would have saw that we talked a little bit about his new signature Bellwitch frame from FBM. I was still real curious about the frame, so I got ahold of Steve Crandall to see if he could give us the low down. Insight: Profile Racing – Mini Hubs

Ever since I’ve started riding 10 or so years ago, there has been a brand in BMX that I remember hearing people swear by time and time again. That brand would be Profile Racing. The U.S based brand out of Florida that produces the classic hubs and cranks that have stood the test of time from riders all around the world. I’ve had two sets of these Mini hubs sitting on my desk the past few days and just looking closely at them, it’s no wonder why they have become so popular over the years. Insight: Shadow Conspiracy X Vans Collaboration

A little over a week ago, I had a care package show up on my doorstep from Vans. I had an idea of what was inside, but I wasn’t sure. Back in October The Shadow Conspiracy had hit me up asking for my shoe and shirt size. They wouldn’t say why they needed it or anything. I knew something was up, and I found out at Interbike in September that the two brands were doing a collaboration. Fast forward to February and the shoes released with a ton of coverage from all angles. So when it showed up on my door step in April I was surprised since I didn’t know I would be getting anything. I’m sure by now you have taken notice to Tree‘s different level of products. There’s a lot of products out there, and it tends to get a little painful seeing the same products with different brand names on them. Sure, there’s only so many ways to make a pivotal post, seat or even a set of bars, but there’s always room for improvement and trying different unconventional routes to creating a new product. Sam, the owner of Tree, is one of those guys who is unconventional and that’s a good thing. The Straight Pull hubs are a prime example of doing things a little different and having it work out great. Insight: 4Seasons Skatepark

4Seasons has been a staple in the Midwest BMX scene for the last 11 or so years. In that time, there have probably been thousands of riders who have passed through their doors, numerous contests and events have gone down, and an endless supply of edits and photos have come from the park. The scene around Milwaukee wouldn’t be where it is today without it, and I’m sure some of the riders you might be familiar with might not be riding still. A few of us decided that it would be a pretty cool idea to do an interview with the owner, Neal, to find out a little bit more about the park.
