Jason Phelan – Deep Sea BMXing

We have seen some interesting Kickstarter campaigns over the years, but this is probably one of the most interesting BMX related ones. Jason Phelan has an idea for a crazy video filmed on a couple of boats and even a little under water action. The idea is there, he has permission to use the boats and everything is set in motion. The only thing left is securing some funding for the project to build the ramps, get the camera crew and all the logistics taken care of. Almost “Nearly 4K” – Part 3: Jason Phelan

When it comes to a guy like Jason Phelan, you know he’s going to be going all in when filming for a project, especially when it’s the new Nearly full-length BMX video. Today we were treated to just over eight and a half minutes of clips that didn’t make the cut, crashes and some funny extras for you to get an idea of what Jason put in for this one. So good!

Jason Phelan – Worlds First Fakie Front Flip Backpack

Jason Phelan is all about getting a good laugh in a time or two. The other day he decided to give fakie front flips a go, but he didn’t want to deal with smashing his back and ass on the ground over and over again while figuring it out. Jason decided to do a little engineering and invented the Fakie Front Flip Backpack, which is essentially a backpack filled with foam from the foam pit at Unit 23 Skatepark. Hit play on the BMX video above to see if he actually pulled it off or not!

“As a joke I decided to stuff foam cubes into a bag and try a fakie frontflip on the resi at unit23skatepark for a laugh.This is kind of a how to as Little did I know it would lead to landing one on an actual ramp. We were wondering when Red Bull would be releasing the second round of Behind the Scenes footage from Kriss Kyle‘s new Kaleidoscope video! Well, today we get the 2nd part which features a little bit of behind the scenes footage from the making of the video, and then a bunch of riding footage from a session at Unit 23 Skatepark that Kriss, Jason Phelan, Chaz Mailey, Paul Ryan and a few others got in prior to filming. Spotlight Sessions: Episode 1 – Jason Phelan and The Rail

It’s been a little while since Jason Phelan has put out a new BMX video… Which is a little weird since he’s usually pretty consistent. But, that’s okay, because he made up for it with this short but sweet edit from some lights out sessions he has been getting in on the rail at Unit 23. Between all the grinds and the epic t-shirt selections, this is well worth checking out!

GT Bicycles – “Bleeding Kansas”

A little while back, the GT Bicycles crew consisting of Rob Wise, Brian Kachinsky, Jeremiah Smith, and Jason Phelan made a trip to Kansas City, Missouri of all places to see just what the city had to offer for spots. Waterford Today

You know you’re in for a treat when Jason Phelan puts out a new edit. Jason recently made a trip back to his home town in Ireland where he spent some time cruising spots with one of his friends. They ended up stacking a bunch of real solid clips for this BMX video and, as expected, ended up with some hilarious extras as well! Take a look!
