On New Years Eve, some of The Daily Grind crew decided to head out a trip to stack a few clips for their new full-length project that’s in the work. Here’s a look at a bunch of real solid clips they stacked that we can assume didn’t make the cut.
“Troy Merkle, Grant Ueberroth, Trent Lutzke, Luke Cameron, and Gremlin went on a short trip to film for the next DG DVD in Tennessee to try to escape the cold Ohio Temperatures, despite the constant mist it was a fun trip.”
A few weekends back, The Daily Grind threw another street jam in the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio! Here’s just over 19 minutes of footage that was collected throughout the day as the crew rolled from spot to spot, slaying everything they came across!

Here’s a rad way to start your Thursday off right! The Daily Grind and 989 Crew out of Michigan teamed up for a dialed new mix edit featuring Mike Vitatoe, Zack Gerber, Troy Merkle, Tony Cherry, Felix Maisonet, Martin Belisle, Kreg Delano, Alex McTaggart, Jonathon Dietz, Gage Keller, Trent Lutzke, Grant Ueberroth, Dan Conway, Jon “Gremlin” Bechtold and Scott Steele all putting in work on the streets. This is a super good watch from start to finish with some dialed riding, rad spots and just an overall good vibe. The annual Dan’s Comp Parking Lot Jam went down last weekend and they brought in a bunch of riders from their team, and a few other familiar faces to spend the day riding with everyone that turned out. Above is a highlight reel giving you a look at all the amazing riding that went down throughout the day. Despite a little rain, it looks like they had a good time!
“Deep in the corn fields of Indiana lies the biggest mail order in BMX, Dan’s Comp. As soon as June rolled in the Dan’s signal was flashed in the sky and riders from across the US came in flocks for the second annual Dan’s Comp Parking Lot Jam. With Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez, Colin Varanyak, Shane Weston, Tony Neyer and Morgan Long at helm for the Dan’s team, plus Austin Augie, Dan Kruk, Zack Gerber, Gremlin, and a ton of locals holding it down, not even a forecast of heavy rain could stop the shred. Scott Towne was on scene giving out cash prizes in a handful of different events, and even hooked up a Vans “Illustrated” premier! I haven’t had this much fun at a jam in a long time.” – Ride BMX

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming. Apparently The Daily Grind crew have been busy starting to stack clips for their next full-length video! Here’s a ton of clips, which we’re assuming are scraps for the video, featuring Tony Cherry, Troy Merkle, Jon “Gremlin” Bechtold, Zack Gerber, Eric Mesta, Scott Steele and Mike Vitatoe all putting in some work on spots over the course of the winter. The full-length is bound to kick a lot of ass, so get stoked. If it’s anything like the “Hard Times” video, it shouldn’t disappoint.

The Daily Grind crew are no strangers to road trips in search of street spots. Over the past few years they have hit up spots all over the East and West Coasts and plenty in between. They recently decided to load up and head East to North Carolina to see just what the state had to offer for street spots. Although North Carolina is primarily known for Greenville in the BMX world, it’s safe to say this place has some amazing street spots, too. Check out 9 minutes of heavy footage from Zack Gerber, Dan Conway, Troy Merkle, Tony Cherry, Scott Steele, Jon “Gremlin” Bechtold, Mike Vitatoe and Grant Ueberroth who put in some serious work during their visit.
