Here’s some sponsor news for you. Eclat have given Julian Arteaga the bump on up to the PRO team! Here’s a short video with the announcement that really doesn’t have any riding in it, but if you’re into guns you’ll probably be into it. Take a look!
Sunday Bikes – No Service
Michigan has been a hot spot for videos lately, and it’s easy to see why. Trent Lutzke got some of the Sunday Bikes squad up there recently, and it looks like they had a blast. Check out what Jared Duncan, Brett Silva, Julian Arteaga and Trent got into in this fresh edit. Small town vibes with plenty of bangers.
“Hold on to your hats folks – this is an absolute gem! DIG filmer Trent Lutzke welcomed his Sunday teammates out to the midwest for a week of car surfing, wild riding clips, angry members of the public, incredible spots and No Service. This is ultimate pre-riding hype. Stop what you’re doing and watch over 10 minutes of grade-A riding from a dream squad.” – DIG
“Having the Sunday boys in town was an idea I have been manifesting since I got put on the team a few years back. I always thought Michigan, especially the northern parts, were super overlooked and practically untouched when it comes to riding. I also thought It could be huge for the riders up in these parts to see pros in their area, get the chance to ride with them, and see that the spots up here are more than capable of providing some heat. There is a scene up here in the north, there’s about one biker for every other one stoplight town and it is important that they see what’s possible on their hometown spots. Seeing Cali footage all day really demotivates a lot of people out this way. Some kids grow up thinking they will never be anything unless they make it out West, and I can only hope that videos like this one show that biking is more than the west coast and more than energy drink sponsors. It is a gift, a gift that brings people together from all over the world and gets you outside living. Being able to meet these guys, I can only hope, provided some perspective that they are just another kid on a bike having a good time. Nobody is naturally gifted, everything we are on our bikes comes from practice. I want kids out this way to see and realize that.
Having Brett, Jared and Julian come and experience the Upper Peninsula for themselves really showed me just how overlooked it was. The winters up here are absolutely brutal and long. The snow almost always sets in by October 31st and isn’t gone until the sun comes back out in May. It can be very detrimental to a person’s riding, which in turn can affect their mental. I hope this video gets people out and getting it while the streets are hot. These northern crust-filled spots were begging for some carnage and holy shit did these boys provide. If there is anything that this video accomplishes, I hope it gets one person outside pedaling because damn did we ever have a good ass time doing just that. Thank you, Sunday Bikes and DIG BMX, for being down to roll with these ideas. It is important to me that the same stoke I grew up on, gets spread to the youngsters coming up on the scene. Bikes baby.” – Trent Lutzke

WHOOPS
Check out this new mix just shy of 12 minutes that Trent Lutzke produced over the past half year while road tripping. This has a lot of footage from Austin, Texas with plenty of heavy hitters that get some clips in this! Hit play and take it all in, because this is a real good watch!
“THIS HITS HARD! Trent Lutzke just got done with a 6 month journey to celebrate completing college and ‘Whoops’ is the result. Just under 12 minutes of hot heat with the likes of Hobie Doan, Brett Silva, Julian Arteaga, Curly Mayne, Jared Duncan, Keaton Harris and Trent. If this doesn’t get your heart going you’re already dead.” – DIG
“Much like most accidents, this video happened with ease and came to conclusion before we even knew we were making a video. I hit the road in my van this past December with my girlfriend and doggo, to start a 6 month long journey around the country, hitting and seeing places I have always wanted to ride. It was my way of celebrating a 5 year long up-hill college battle that I finally completed this past year. The top of my list for places I wanted to visit was Austin. I had never been to the massive state before this trip and Austin always seemed like an amazing place to ride bikes. When you grow up in the Midwest, places like Austin and LA get put on a pedestal in your mind. It’s amazing to think that there are places with so many spots and so little bad weather. From a young age, sneak watching day in the life videos in middle school computer class about dudes living in Austin, dreaming about getting out there someday to live that life; To saying, ‘fuck it’ and driving my van out there to ride whatever and sleep wherever. BMX is awesome in that way, it’s all about how you make it. Where you put yourself. The people you connect with. And making great friends/memories in the process. Julian, Jared and Hobie all took my girlfriend, dog, and I in like we were family. I can’t thank those guys enough for letting us post up for the month and for all the good times we had. I had never met any of these dudes before, except for Julian when I was really young, and I had no idea how it was going to go. This video was formed by instead of pulling out the phone, I pulled out the HMC and before we knew it, we had more footage than we knew what to do with. Whoops. Soon, Brett tagged in as well and a couple other homies, Keaton from Vegas and the infamous Curly Mayne. Every last one of these dudes feel like family now and this video was just my way of showing my appreciation for all the good ass times we had! I hope you enjoy, and I hope if this video does anything, it just gets you psyched to get up, get out and shred. You never know where the road could take you. Love you boys! Cheers!” – Trent Lutzke
Sunday – Julian Arteaga Signature 2021 EX Complete
Sunday Bikes released this promo video featuring Julian Arteaga taking one of his signature 2021 EX complete bikes out into the streets to show you what it’s capable of. We got really stoked right off the bat to see Julian rocking the brakes and putting them to good use on a few spots. Then he shows that the brakes are removable and goes brakeless and pegless, which also lead to some unique riding since normally he’s putting pegs to heavy use. We just want to see more footage to see what Julian can do with brakes! Either way, the bike looks dialed and this is a good watch. Take a look!
“Julian Arteaga’s signature EX complete bike in Matte Raw is available now at BMX shops worldwide. It features a 100% chromoly frame, fork, and bar, along with a pro-level Odyssey and Sunday parts package. Sealed hubs front and back and frame design upgrades like removable braking hardware give it a clean look. Watch Julian put it to work.” – Sunday Bikes
Sunday Bikes – Julian Arteaga “Might As Well”
This past year has been a complete dumpster fire, but there have been a few perks. Due to COVID shutting things down, Julian Arteaga has been able to get out and ride a lot of spots that haven’t been as easy to access when work, school and everything else that’s normally going on is happening. Here’s a look at what he cooked up for clips! As expected, plenty of bangers packed in this with crazy lines and grind combos you won’t want to miss. Take a look!
“Imagine not having to worry about a job, errands, alarms, going to school, or any responsibility really. Within these two months filming with Jerry and Brett, that’s how it was. Covid put everything on lock down so we took that as a pass on all the street we wanted. We grabbed my VX2100, hopped in any car and sent it, and holy hell was it fun. There’s nothing like being out with your boys and shooting the shit while filming on some solid setups. Hope you guys enjoy.” – Julian Arteaga

Sunday Bikes – Chapped Clips
Back before the shut downs and quarantine rules kicked in, the Sunday Bikes squad got a proper team trip in where they spent 10 days in Las Vegas stacking clips galore for this new video filled with dialed riding from the whole squad. They ended up with 15 minutes of pure goodness, so get on that play button because this is a Must See for sure!
“Remember when slappin’ fives was chill and chapped lips was the biggest thing we had to worry about? Back in March we whipped the van out to Las Vegas and flew in the rest of the team for 10 days of amazing spots, good times and dry climates. Everyone’s lips were chapped by day 2. Enjoy Brett Silva, Broc Raiford, Julian Arteaga, Aaron Ross, Gary Young, Erik Elstran, Jake Seeley, Alec Siemon, Jared Duncan and Justin Schual in “Chapped Clips”.

Sunday Bikes – Julian Areteaga “Sniper”
Sunday Bikes coming through with a fresh banger of a BMX video featuring Julian Arteaga cruising the streets with his smooth and effortless style. Julian puts all four pegs and his freecoaster to heavy use with precision lines that are too good to miss, and that ender is definitely something you need to see. We’re really digging the filming on this as well. It’s a nice change to see a video that isn’t all up in a riders face with crazy angles.
“SNIPERS. Over 5 minutes of Julian Arteaga’s classic style, is now LIVE on sundaybikes.com. Julian has a knack for making simple things look great, and hard things look easy. This video is all the proof you need. Filmed all long lens, no fish were harmed during the making.
