When the crew at Nowear throw a contest at the Nowear compound out in Nebraska, you know it’s going to be a good time! The Middle of Nowear contest went down a few weekends back, and it was a full house with riders from the young guns to the old dogs, along with plenty of Pros in the mix. Here’s a highlight video showing you all the crazy riding that went down. Check it!

“The third annual Middle of Nowear contest was off the hook! Every class threw down from beginners to old guys, culminating with 20 pro entrees batting it out for $5000.

The vibes could not have been higher. From the beautiful rider camaraderie, great local food, and stories shared around the campfire, it was a truly epic event that left everyone wanting more. This competition is here to stay with continued plans to run annually in April with a large pro purses and tons of prizes for all other classes.

Last year BMX lost a good one when Jaramiah Droescher passed away. Karl Hinkley, owner of Nowear BMX, was close like Jaramiah and wanted to do something special as a tribute bike to him. Here’s a new video Bike Check where Karl gives you the full run through from the special colorway Nowear frame through a bunch of the Nowear parts, and parts from other brands that Karl is stoked on. The Nowear Compound Story

Check out the story of the Nowear BMX compound and how Karl Hinkley made his own BMX paradise in Nebraska!

Over the years we’ve watched Karl Hinkley turn Nowear BMX from a simple clothing brand into a full blown non-profit with a whole compound of ramps and trails that are available to all riders for free. Karl is one of those guys that truly loves BMX with everything he has, and in turn he’s helped out so many riders along the way. This is a news story style video where you get some insight into just what Nowear has become today. Definitely hit play on this one.

Nowear BMX – Colorado Weekend 2023

The Nowear crew spent a weekend in Colorado!

There’s not much for information on this one, but Karl Hinkley and some of the Nowear BMX team loaded up for a trip to Colorado to ride some of the amazing concrete parks, backyard ramps and more. Here’s a look at what they got into. It looks like it was a productive weekend to us!

Like Karl’s other bike, it’s decked out with his own Nowear products, along with a ton of great parts from other brands, even a few we don’t see all too often anymore. There’s a time when every BMX rider thinks about having their own signature frame or product, or even starting their own brand. Most of the time those ideas or goals don’t end up happening, but every now and then there is somebody out there that finds a way to make it happen. Karl Hinkley is one of those people who likes to make his dreams a reality. Over the years Nowear went from a couple t-shirt designs, to Karl going all in on making frames, bars and other parts that he wanted to see happen. These parts definitely stand out, and ultimately Karl has been able to build up a bike of his very own. During the 10th annual Cornhuckit Jam, Brant Moore caught up with Karl to take an in-depth look at his current brakeless setup. Cornhuckit 2021 – The Movie

A few weeks back was the 9th annual Nowear Cornhuckit Jam at the Nowear Compound in Nebraska. Every year the event gets bigger with new ramps and setups to ride and no shortage of riders who come from all over to enjoy the weekend. Here’s a video Brant Moore put together with 55 minutes of footage giving you a look at everything that went down this year from the intro Karl Hinkley gave to all the riding and good times. Take a look because this is one hell of an event that’s made just to bring riders together for a fun weekend of riding.
