Kink – One Hit Wednesday: Chad Osburn and the Full Loop
Chad Osburn is no stranger to going fast and that’s what it takes to get through a loop on a full pipe! Check out this classic clip from Kink!
“We passed by this skatepark one morning while on a filming trip in Northern California for Squash It. Chad casually pulled up next to the van at a nearby traffic light and said something about wanting to loop the full pipe we had just passed. The skaters at the park weren’t stoked that we were there, that is until they figured out what Chad wanted to try. A few run ups later and Chad charged it, the craziest thing we’ve ever seen. He actually loses contact with the pipe at around 11 o’clock, only to be miraculously caught and saved. Wild.” – Kink
Kink – One Hit Wednesday: Chris Doyle
For this weeks One Hit Wednesday, Kink went back to 2008 to a clip of Chris Doyle that he had a little “trouble” with. Chris is a beast. Enough said! Check it out!
“Chris Doyle has been filming enders longer than most people have been riding. For our 2008 dvd, “Safety First” we ended up filming his last clip in Chapel Hill, NC. Chris had been sweating this manual gap to rail for a few years before this, and decided it was finally time to get it done. One of our flow riders, Jason Owens, lost his mind when Chris accidentally jumped to feeble on the first take. Chris being the professional he is, got back on his bike and laced it next try. Classic Doyle, classic footage.”

Insight: Kink – Sean Sexton Signature “SXTN” Frame
After a good run with the popular “Issue” frame that has seen a few versions over the course of the past few years, Sean Sexton and Kink decided it was time to start fresh with a new frame versus a revised version. A few weeks back we got a little sneak peek look at Sean’s new signature “SXTN” frame that they have been working on out in New York and we were really digging what we were seeing. We hit up Kink to get a little exclusive first in-depth look at just what they have been cooking up in the kitchen. We have the full specs, details and close up photos just in time for its release the first week of March! Product: Kink – Boulevard Hub
Is it time for a new front hub? Have you given Kink’s Boulevard hub a look yet? The shell of the hub is made from CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum with 2 sealed 6902 sealed bearings, a hollow 15mm 7075-T6 aluminum female center axle using the floating axle system with a 7075 bearing spacer on the inside, 7075-T6 bearing cones and 8mm allen hex / 17mm socket chromoly bolts to keep it all tight. The Boulevard hub is available in 36-hole only with colors of black, raw, blue, bronze, Crimson red and Battleship grey and a weight of 7.6 oz. This hub also comes with Kink’s Plastic hub guards so you will be good to grind.
