Red Bull – Behind The Scenes: 3 Day Metro Pass

Over the years Red Bull have produced a ton of amazing BMX videos featuring their team and friends throwing down all around the world. One series, 3 Day Metro Pass, featured the Red Bull team and friends spending 3 days exploring different cities from the U.S to Canada, Spain, Portugal, Italy and more! Although there hasn’t been a new 3 Day Metro Pass for some time, Red Bull decided to dig into the archives and put together a behind the scenes video mixing footage from all the different trips. Take a look!

In a challenge of resourcefulness, top BMX riders traveled to cities around the world where they were given three days to film their best tricks, using public transit as their only means of getting around.

Kriss Kyle In Indonesia

It’s funny how long it cane take for footage to pop up online sometimes. Here’s a video from some time Kriss Kyle spent in Indonesia with trials rider Duncan Shaw back in 2018 doing demos and cruising some of the local street spots. It looks like it was a real solid trip and Kriss delivers with some great riding as always! Hit play and check it out!

“In late 2018, myself and Kriss Kyle were luckily enough to be invited to do some shows at The Opening Ceremony for the Asia Para Games. We also managed to get out and ride some fun stuff in the busy streets of Jakarta.

I was looking through the clips recently and decided they were too good to leave so cut together a quick trip video from our week in Indonesia.

Now we get 11 minutes of behind the scenes footage showing just what it took to make the video happen from launching off piers to riding on a ROLLER COASTER to the depths of catching some transitions inside a tunnel under an aquarium and more. “What could be more obvious than doing a BMX edit in a country where the average person pedals more than 500km a year? Probably not a lot of things. In Denmark – a country that has ranked as the happiest in the world in for several years, biking is a way of life. Kyle took full advantage of the laid-back lifestyle and love of all things two-wheels to explore some of the wildest places in the Scandinavian country.

His three-week journey saw him travel to the likes of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Jutland, Løkken, Falster Island, Møn Island and Klampenborg and perform tricks like paragliding with his bike onto a beach, ride in an underwater aquarium with sharks and take his bike on rollercoasters, cliffs, boats and planes.

It has been a slow weekend, so we figured it would be a good time to re-up Kriss Kyle‘s latest Red Bull video from Dubai! We’re not sure how much time and money went into making this one happen, but Kriss got access to water parks, skyscrapers and other landmarks all over Dubai where he stacked some amazing riding on some unique setups. Add in some awesome film work by Matty Lambert and you have a BMX video that you won’t want to pass up.

That’s what Kriss Kyle discovered when he had the opportunity of a lifetime to explore the city by bike, and land tricks you’ve never seen before. From cavemanning out of a helicopter onto the Burj Al Arab, to tricking it out on some of Dubai’s most famous landmarks, with barspins and all sorts of tricks you can imagine (and unimaginable) Kriss captured it all for our eyes to feed on.
