“This whole video started with a bunch of leftover clips I had laying around from different trips with David and Anton – every now and then I’d also get a clip here at home with Anton or someone else would be pointing the camera at me. After a while of also getting some clips of friends again, I knew that I wanted to make a Fracture video out of it. I believe that the scene we’ve got going on here in Cologne is something special and it means so much to me. So many talented people, so many good friends that always got each others backs. For it becoming an actual Fracture video, it was clear to me that I needed to get a whole lot more clips with friends. All these people and way more, make Fracture what it means to all of us. Women are taking BMX by storm!

Over the past few years it seems like women riding BMX has absolutely exploded. There’s so many new ladies popping up on bikes and crushing it. The Cliche Crew over in Europe is the first BMX crew consisting of all women that we’ve heard of, and they’re definitely crushing it. Check out this new 8 minute mix filled with real solid riding and good times they got into along the way.

“So hyped on this eight minute video from The Cliché Crew ( @theclichecrew ), filmed in Barcelona and Cologne with Emma Finnegan, Francina Fernández, Anahi Arevalo, Jorid Eilts, Wibke Vogel,
Linda Grabner and Teresa Grauten, who also filmed and edited the whole project.

“We started the Cliché Project because we realized that there are no videos that are completely done by girls. So we wanted to change that and create something that we can be proud of and represents BMX in our opinion. The name “Cliché“ came into our minds because on one hand, there are many stereotypes in women’s BMX we want to break with this video project. On the other hand, we want to create a solid BMX video that fits the stereotypes of a street video.

We went on two trips. For the first one we went to Barcelona for ten days in February and for the second one we went to Germany in July. The first few days we spent in Hannover and the rest of the trip in Cologne. Most of us met for the first time in Barca but everyone immediately got along really well. It was a new experience to go street riding with a bunch of girls and it was really cool to see how every girl got out of her comfort zone and pushed her limits. Besides riding we made a bunch of good memories being seven girls in a two bedroom apartment. Cooking together, watching the clips we filmed, talking, annoying each other, dancing and just enjoying each other’s company.

Huge shout out to Vans, WeThePeople and Kink for making this project possible and all the local guys who supported us. We hope this video inspires young girls to go out in the streets with their friends, pick up a camera and just have fun on their bikes.” – The Cliché Crew

Linda Grabner takes the number one Women’s rider!

The videos featuring the NORA Cup 2022 winners keep rolling out. The winner of the Women’s Rider of the Year award was Linda Grabner and it’s easy to see just why! Check out this video filled with great riding, words from the ladies that voted for her, and a look at her accepting the award a few weeks back!

She is pushing boundaries in the sport and does it with a fearless, passionate approach. Linda is currently injured, We can’t wait to see what she’s got in store when she’s all healed up.

Vans X The Bloom

Vans and The Bloom BMX teamed up for a 9 day road trip across California hitting up parks, street spots, trails and pools all along the way! Check out what the ladies got into in this dialed video with a ton of great riding and good times!

“Vans BMX proudly presents, Vans x The Bloom, a collaboration that brought some of the most inspirational women in BMX together for a tour from Northern to Southern California.

Vans x The Bloom kicked off on International Women’s Day and included Bloom BMX co-founders Angie Marino (USA) and Beatrice Trang (CAN), along with photographer Naoki Gaman (JPN). The trip was internationally represented with Perris Benegas (USA), Linda Grabner (AUT), Maca Grasset (CHI), and Teresa Fernandez-Miranda (ESP).

Over a span of nine days, the crew ventured on a dream-like tour from San Francisco to Huntington Beach, hitting up parks, trails and street along the way.
