Product: Madera – Chrome Protocol HT Cranks

For the past few years, Madera‘s Protocol HT cranks have been available in one color to help keep the costs down; matte black. These cranks are very similar to Profile Racing cranks, minus a few minor details to help keep the production costs down and the overall price of the cranks down, while offering a more affordable price at the shop for you. It looks like Madera, who are celebrating 10 years in business, are starting to make a few more color options for those of you who want something a little more flashy. A few weeks ago we got a look at the Celestial colorway they added to the options, and now today we get a look at the chrome option! So, for about $157.99 you can get the Chrome Protocol HT cranks — with a heat-treated chromoly spindle — now through BMX shops, mail-orders or direct from the Madera Webstore!

Madera X DIG – Tom Villarreal Video

You know when a Tom Villarreal BMX video drops, you’re going to see a bunch of gnarly riding. Here’s his latest for Madera that is just that! Gnarly clip after gnarly clip! Tom is an absolute beast.

Madera Riverwalk Skatepark Session

The Madera team recently spent some time visiting shops and skateparks down in Florida. During the trip they made a stop at the Riverwalk Skatepark for a session with some of the locals. Here’s a BMX video loaded with highlights from the night featuring Erik Elstran, Mike Hinkens, Tom Villarreal, Dan Kruk, Dylan McCauley and Profile Racing’s Grant Castelluzzo along with some clips from the locals Chris Schuster, Frank Clark, Tyler Jenkins, Ryan Torrance and Tim Kellum who stopped out for the session!

Profile Racing and Madera at Revolt BMX Shop

Tom Villarreal is all about the vibe and this edit gives off the best of vibes. While heading north and avoiding the dangers of the Oregon Trail, Tom was able to see some beautiful sites as well as film some beautiful clips. There are some classic spots in here and some new ones, but Tom uses all of them in the way he knows best: like a badass.

Madera – Mike Hinkens and the C4 Hub Guard

Do you run Madera or Profile Racing front hubs, but you want a hub guard that is plastic? Well, Madera have just released their new C4 plastic hub guard that fits Madera’s Pilot front hub and Profile Racing’s Mini, elite and Totem front hubs. This guard is made from CNC Machined Delrin right here in the United States and simply slides onto your hub over your cones. You do need to be running the new cones that Profile and Madera use with knurling for it to fit properly though!

The C4 Hub Guard is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Madera worldwide for around $14.99. You can also pick up the hub guard direct from the Profile Racing webstore for $16.99. The cone washer with the knurling is available for $6.50. Check out photos below!
