Orchid dropped this sneak peek of Matt Beringer’s new signature Cobra II shoe in the Blue Groove colorway. These should be coming through soon. Here’s a few words from Derek Adams about the shoe.
“2012 samples are here. Shoe photos are happening now, here’s the first off the line. This is Matt Beringer’s new shoe, The Cobra 2. The color is called “blue groove” which is also the name for the hard packed line that forms in a dirt jump after it’s been ridden a lot. Beringer knows a little something about that since his backyard is a giant dirt playground. I got a chance to watch Killjoy recently and it’s apparent that Matt’s creative style of riding has rubbed off on the entire Utah scene. Every one of those dudes does kooky stuff, which is entirely entertaining and inspiring at the same time. Keep bmx weird!”
Matt Beringer, Cameron Wood and Riley Smith recently took a trip to Colorado to get some time in on the ski bikes. Check out some footage from the trip where they cruised in the desert and by the end they were cruising snow half pipes. I really want one of those things now.
“This is the final part from the Salt Lake City trip. You know the drill, it’s the same intro so if you don’t want sit through it again skip to about the 1:30 mark. In this bit you’ll see the crew shred Matt Berringer’s house and some street spots. All-in-all, we all had a ton of fun making our mark in the state of Utah and look forward to the next trip to do it again. K.I.L.
