Leon Lee – Back to the Origin

Merritt – Stephan August 2015

Over the past year or two, Stephan August has been working hard and putting in some serious time on his bike. Here’s his latest BMX video for Merritt which is filled with some damn good riding from start to finish as he puts his pegs to heavy use. Take a look!

“Stephan August is back with his second DIG exclusive of the year, this time in conjunction with sponsor Merritt, and the addition of 4 pegs. Hailing from The Valley, Stephan knocked off some moves near home, criss crossed the greater Long Angeles area, and ventured up north to San Francisco with longtime friend and videographer Chris Bracamonte. He may be a new comer to the peg game, but he’s clearly got a handle on things quickly. We at DIG enjoy that Stephan doesn’t confine himself to the standard mix of ledges and rails, seeking his fair share of interesting roofs, gaps, pools, and more.

Merritt – Louisville Skatepark Stop

A little while back, some of the Merritt crew rolled through the Louisville park for a session. It’s crazy that we don’t see much from this park anymore thanks to the construction going on all around it, but luckily we get a look at what Brandon Begin, Marcas Grubbs, Tony Hamlin and Justin Care threw down during their visit! Today, they sent through a BMX video of them putting the Merritt P1 pedals to the test in a pretty unorthodox way… without a bike. Merritt – Insert Bar End Quick Test

Well, that’s one way to test some Bar Ends. The guys over at Merritt giving their Insert bar ends, which feature a metal washer, a test compared to a regular nylon bar end to see what kind of abuse it can withstand. After watching Mike Brennan slam on the bar ends with a hammer, it’s safe to say these things were built to take the abuse that BMX can throw at it.

“Today we filmed a quick little video at the warehouse to show you how our insert bar ends hold up way better than your average pair of push in bar ends. The Bar ends are Nylon with a molded in steel washer that prevents handlebars from cutting through the bar end.”
