United – Miki Fleck “Perception”
It’s pretty crazy how you can see a ton of footage from a rider, and you might not really know anything about them. Miki Fleck is a perfect example of this. We’ve seen Miki’s name pop up a TON over the past few years, but we’ve honestly only seen him riding. United BMX decide to change that up a bit and drop this new Perception video that lets you get to know the rider a bit, along with some riding clips of course! Take a look
“We set off to Barcelona as a safe haven for the winter months. It’s always a safe bet that when you’re going to Barcelona, the weathers going to be good, the spots are plentiful and cheap booze. We had 6 days of rain whilst England was actually dry, in fact, it was the worst weather Barcelona had seen for 30 years. The seafront had completely washed away leaving shops strewn across the beaches. The render from buildings was falling off as we pedalled in defeat across the city. This did give us a perfect opportunity to start a new series titled “PERCEPTION”. The series will follow our riders and give a little insight into the lives that they lead. Part one follows Miki Fleck and we learn about where Miki grew up, what he does day to day and how living in the worlds street mecca really is.” – United BMX
Plaza Nights With Miki Fleck, The Bespaliy Twins and more
The sessions don’t end in Barcelona. Here’s a fresh mix featuring a bunch of familiar faces and a few new ones getting down at a plaza spot filled with ledges galore. Hit play to check out a bunch of real solid clips they managed to film during some late night sessions!
“Barcelona may be a mecca of street riding but it doesn’t mean it’s always easy out there. Take this plaza for instance – try and ride there in the day and you’ll get the boot from skaters or eager cops alike. Our dude Rafael Black and the likes of Miki Fleck, the Bespaliy twins and more headed down there under the cover of darkness for a sesh. Enjoy!” – DIG
DIG BMX House NYC
What happens when you drop Hobie Doan, Denim Cox, Reed Stark, Joris Coulomb, Mark Burnett, Miki Fleck and Brandon Begin in New York for a week of cruising spots? You get no shortage of dialed clips! DIG set these guys up with a place to stay and they went to work! This is a pretty diverse crew that you probably wouldn’t find all in a video together, but that’s what makes this so good. There’s a good mix of tricks and styles, keeping this interesting from start to finish. Not only that, but Ben Norris did a real goo job with the film work.
“We decided to invite seven riders for seven days in Brooklyn, New York – the week after Austin Augie’s inaugural D.O.T.S. jam – and put them all under one roof, along with DIG photographer Wes McGrath and fresh-faced lo-fi Aussie filmer Ben Norris, to see what could happen. Miki Fleck, Reed Stark, Hobie Doan, Joris Coulomb, Brandon Begin, Denim Cox, and Mark Burnett all jumped at the chance to bundle up and get down for the first installment of DIGhouse, the NYC edition
