With the Dan’s Comp DVD “Roll Call” due to premiere on November 23rd at The Bakery, they will be releasing a bunch of the leftover footage each week for you to enjoy until the video is available. This week they have a ton of dialed clips from Raul Ruiz for you to check out! This is bound to be a banger of a video.
“Raul Ruiz filmed a ton of stuff for the Dan’s Comp Roll Call DVD–so much, that besides having a full length part in the video, Stew Johnson was also able to put together this “Leftovers” edit featuring a bunch of solid clips of Raul.

Cult – Bad-Boy V2 Sunshine Series Frame
Emmitt BMX got together with Cult and did a small run of Bad-Boy V2 frames in a sexy translucent blue color, dubbed the “Sunshine Series” (due to Emmitt being based out of Florida, known as “The Sunshine State”.) As I mentioned before it’s a small run, so if you want one of these beauties, you better get on it quick!
Introducing The Factory V.3
Living in Minnesota has always had one major downside when it comes to BMX… Winter. Over the years we have had a lot of skateparks come and go and a lot of the time it’s because they just aren’t built right or the people running it don’t know what the hell they are doing. Luckily, over the years we’ve had a few different places to ride that are doing things right. One of those places is The Factory in Minneapolis that’s ran by Dustin Grice and a handful of other guys who have been pushing the scene around here in the right direction for years.
In the past three years, these guys have gone from just a few little ramps to help pass the winters in a little corner of a warehouse they rented to their 3rd version that’s a full on BMX training facility that’s open 24 hours a day to members looking to ride some big ramps or learn some new tricks.
Dustin hooked us up with the premiere of their new video they just dropped giving you a look at the new ramp setup and some of the bangers that have gone down since they wrapped up building. After you check out the video, hit up RideTCFF.org to find out more! This is how things are supposed to be done.
Joel Barnett Bike Check
The guys at Fit Bike Co. caught up with Joel Barnett to take a closer look at his current Homan setup! Flip through the photos above to see what this man is running. That’s one sturdy unit if I may say!
“Joel Barnett is a beast, so it should come as no surprise that he rides Van Homan’s signature frame, the VH3. One glance at Joel’s bike, built up with INMAN bars, BLADE II forks, a KEY sprocket, INDENT 24 cranks, OG pegs w/ WIZARDSLEEVES, MAC SEALED pedals, FAF 2.3 tires and BENNY grips and it’s obvious Barnett means business.“
