Living in Minnesota has always had one major downside when it comes to BMX… Winter. Over the years we have had a lot of skateparks come and go and a lot of the time it’s because they just aren’t built right or the people running it don’t know what the hell they are doing. Luckily, over the years we’ve had a few different places to ride that are doing things right. One of those places is The Factory in Minneapolis that’s ran by Dustin Grice and a handful of other guys who have been pushing the scene around here in the right direction for years.
In the past three years, these guys have gone from just a few little ramps to help pass the winters in a little corner of a warehouse they rented to their 3rd version that’s a full on BMX training facility that’s open 24 hours a day to members looking to ride some big ramps or learn some new tricks.
Dustin hooked us up with the premiere of their new video they just dropped giving you a look at the new ramp setup and some of the bangers that have gone down since they wrapped up building. After you check out the video, hit up RideTCFF.org to find out more! This is how things are supposed to be done.
Joel Barnett Bike Check
The guys at Fit Bike Co. caught up with Joel Barnett to take a closer look at his current Homan setup! Flip through the photos above to see what this man is running. That’s one sturdy unit if I may say!
“Joel Barnett is a beast, so it should come as no surprise that he rides Van Homan’s signature frame, the VH3. One glance at Joel’s bike, built up with INMAN bars, BLADE II forks, a KEY sprocket, INDENT 24 cranks, OG pegs w/ WIZARDSLEEVES, MAC SEALED pedals, FAF 2.3 tires and BENNY grips and it’s obvious Barnett means business.“

Volume Bikes – Jason Enns Cerberus Frame Promo
Volume Bikes: Jason Enns Cerberus Frame Promo. from 180 Distribution on Vimeo.

Etnies – Chase Hawk Welcome Edit
Chase Hawk has been on Etnies for a while now, but they have been taking their time with the welcome edit, and I’d say it was worth the effort and wait. It starts off with the other Etnies team riders talking about Chase, and then kicks into a full on riding section that is better than your average web edit, to say the least. It’s 9 minutes that goes by like it’s 3. Todays “Must See” for sure.
Wethepeople – Frame Focus: Patron Frame
I don’t know if I’m the only one that does this, but at any given time I have a mental list of frames that I’d like to get if my current frame cracked/was stolen, etc. Last year’s Wethepeople Patron was on that list, and this year’s model seems to be even better. Check out the explanation of this year’s improvements and get a few riding clips as well.
