Here’s a little something I spotted over on The Merged for you to drool over. We got a look at these during Interbike, but just incase you missed it… Here’s a fresh sneak peek look at the updated Mutant Bikes Owl hubs that are coming soon. This version features that slick oil slick color way as an option, titanium hardware, and instead of the sliding axle, they have decided to go with a more traditional female axle to reduce the confusion people were having with installation. Expect these out soon!
A few days before Interbike, Nuno at Mutant told me he had a few new things to show me. When Nuno says that, I just prepare for my mind to get blown because he is always cooking up some crazy and innovating products. If you’re looking at the photo above you’re probably wondering what the hell is going on, so we better get into this!
We’ve seen a few different versions of Mutant Bikes peg / hub guard combo a few times over the past few years. The concept has changed little by little perfecting it into a hell of a good idea. Head over to The Merged to get the low down on the final version that’s in pre-production right now! This looks damn good.
Mutant Bikes hooked Diogo Santos up with a GoPro to use. Diogo figured he might as well put it to good use and ended up filming a ton of riding at his local spots in Portugal. Take a look at what he came up with in this brand new edit!
“Some random clips i campture with a Go Pro 1, spots i’ve been ride around Lisboa, Faro, Leiria and Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.

A little while back, Mutant Bikes caught up with team rider, Daniel Americo, to check out his setup along with film some extra riding clips. Definitely take a peek at this!
