Here’s one for the riders into filming and editing. Ryan Fudger put together an in-depth video giving us a look at what goes into filming a video part for a project like FISE’s online video contest he did with Demarcus Paul. This gives you a look at the filming equipment he used, the editing software, the behind the scenes footage and more. This is real good information for people looking to get into filming or step their game up a bit. Take a look!

Another stab at doing something different, please let me know what you guys think in the comments. Basically, FISE is holding a massive video contest and Demarcus and I put together a part for it. Along the way, I had the idea to do a little behind the scenes video…so here we are.

Dan Kruk – Favorite Rider’s Favorite Rider

August 12, 2020

It’s always interesting to hear what riders influence other riders and how. Dan Kruk sat down to talk about his favorite rider, Jeff Klugiewicz, and how much he was influenced growing up with Jeff as the local pro that was there to push Dan to become the rider he is today. This is definitely a rad pick since Jeff has done so much for BMX as a rider and a dude putting on events, filming videos and more. Hell, even Jeff had an influence on why this website exists today. Hit play and take it all in!

“Dan Kruk’s native Wisconsin is brimming with BMX talent and he gives a shout-out to one of the many local legend’s he grew up with. Safe to say you can see that influence in Dan’s riding.

Shout out to https://wethepeoplebmx.de/ for supporting Dan Kruk and https://profileracing.com for holding it down with Jeff K—and both brands for supporting OurBMX!

Nathan Williams – Least Favorite / Most Favorite

August 5, 2020

As you all know by now, Nathan Williams has been an absolute beast on a bike for a long time, and this new Least Favorite / Most Favorite video that Our BMX dropped is a good reminder of it. In the video above, Nathan watches his old “Nobody Special” part, which was one of his first video parts ever, followed up with his Etnies “Chapters” section from about two years ago. Both sections are absolute bangers and a reminder of just how good he has always been on a bike. Although Nathan didn’t have a ton to say about his “Nobody Special” part, there’s SOOOOO many tricks in that, that we would love to see him doing again like the massive backrail fufanus for example. It’s funny to see how much Nathan experimented with different styles when he was younger, then seeing his very solidified style in his “Chapters” part that is definitely his own. Needless to say, this is a really good watch, so hit play and take it all in.

Get ready for Nathan’s “Why Not?” video that’s set to drop August 8th! Get the details here — gumroad.com/nathanwilliamswhynot

“The basic concept here is that we’re going to sit down riders who have had a plethora of video parts and have them discuss their least favorite (not to be confused with not liking) and most favorite. Jog the ol’ memory box and talk about a different period of their life and what went into making those parts…

Next up, via request from the comments on the last video, we have one of the quintessential video part riders of the modern day, Nathan Williams. If you’d like to watch the parts he discusses without commentary, click below.” – Our BMX

Pedal For Peace 2020 Jam

July 28, 2020

Check out this rad video from the Pedal For Peace jam that went down in Long Beach the other weekend! The event was organized by Linwood Monk and a ton of familiar faces turned out for the day to support the cause! Check out riding from Broc Raiford, Dylan Stark, Kevin Porter, Tom Villarreal, Tony Malouf, Jeff Wescott, Demarcus Paul and more! Hit play and take this all in!

“These are tumultuous times we’re currently living in. And whatever your beliefs may be, if you want to make a difference and help make a change, you need to speak up and act. That’s exactly what Long Beach local Linwood Monk did with Pedal For Peace. To say that Linwood (@bosshog) is outspoken about his beliefs is an understatement—and this past weekend he channeled that energy in a positive direction with Pedal For Peace. The ride began at Long Beach City Hall and ended at a jam with a box jump/hip setup at the beach parking lot below Bixby “Cherry” Park—where a Reggae band was coincidentally playing a mere ten feet away. In true Long Beach fashion, the event quickly turned into a melting pot of people from all walks of life getting together and having a good time. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but every effort helps us all in move the right direction, and Pedal for Peace did exactly that.” – Our BMX
