Sean Fontenot mentioned to me that we should check out the Sunken City in San Pedro, CA. Apparently this is an old city block from the 1930’s that sank into the Pacific Ocean. This was also the shot location of “The Big Lebowski” when they dump Donnie’s ashes into the ocean.
This past summer, photographer Josh McElwee spent some time in Pennsylvania at Woodward East. As you can imagine, this is an up and coming photographers dream come true because it gives you the opportunity to shoot with so many different up and coming riders and even the countless pros that are in and out of the place all the time. Josh recently sent through a portfolio of photos he shot during his time there and they were just too damn good not to show you guys. This past weekend, FBM invaded Derek Nelson’s compound to throw a jam in true FBM fashion with a lot of beer, pizza, BMX, good people and good times. There was no doubt in anyones mind that this was going to be anything but a good time. We were lucky enough to have our friend, Nick Jones, there to take it all in with his camera. We’ve got 29 photos from the day for you to check out to either remember what the hell actually happened after you blacked out or if you weren’t lucky enough to be there to see some of what went down. First, here’s a couple words from Nick….
“The first FBM Post Apocolympics went down Saturday in Vestal, NY and it was one of the best weekends I’ve had all summer. Watching Jack Hartje jump over the entire satellite and then try to 360 it was defiantly a highlight as well as the bunny hop contest on Derek Nelson’s five thousand pound bike from Road Fools 13. I also saw Crandall get naked for a big boobs contest later that night at tent city. Good times and good people sums it all up. Shout out to Derek Nelson, Steve Crandall, and everyone else that made this jam possible.” – Nick Jones
Nick Bott – Double peg to toothpick hanger, Norristown, PA. I met Nick earlier this year and right away I was surprised we hadn’t crossed paths because he’s so damn good. Also, his dog, Philip, happens to be one of the coolest dogs on the planet and can be found gracing Nick’s Instagram on an almost daily basis.
There’s been so many damn good submissions from photographers lately. It has been hard to keep up with everything. We’ve been doing our best to get these galleries out, so definitely keep checking back if you are into these because we’ll keep doing them if you keep checking them out.

13 year old Xavier Lopez is the lil brother of Robbie Decelle (featured in this gallery) and in this shot I showed up at the local skate park (Rusch Park or RPL) and shoot a few. Xavier is an up and coming rider who just progresses everyday he is out there.
