There’s nothing we like more than starting our day off with a new Lip Lords video! This one is amazing because this one went all out with some of the finest lip gamers in BMX making appearances beyond just Brant Moore and Sponge who have been crushing it in all the past parts! Everything about this video kicks ass from start to finish! MUST SEE for sure!
“One ramp, endless possibilities.
The Lip Lords were originally a group of guys from colorado who rode in the late 80s and early 90s.
This series is a tribute to the original lip lords.
This is Lip Lords.

A lot of things can change in the course of 17 years, and some things always stay the same. With the closing of The Trick Factory that Rob Ridge kept open for the past 17 years, SteevCVM decided to dig through the archives to produce a video from some of the footage collected over the course of 1999 – 2016 from the scene in Birdport, where the park was located. One of the best parts about this video is that it’s hard to actually tell what year some of these clips were filmed. Sure, you can tell by the bikes or what people are wearing a little bit, but a lot of the tricks in this are pretty timeless. Plus, there’s a good mix of legends through some of the unheard of guys and up and comers who spent only a little time at The Trick Factory. Either way, this is a great watch from start to finish! Enjoy!

It’s always a bummer hearing about a long standing skatepark closing its doors. The Trick Factory, which is Rob Ridge‘s skatepark that has been featured in every single one of Rob’s insane videos, has closed its doors after 17 years. Above is a video from the last session where the park was packed full of riders, skateboards and scooters from the young guns to the old guys. It’s definitely a bummer watching this one, but it looks like everyone enjoyed that final session. It does sound like Rob is working on finding a new location for a new park, which would be rad to see.
Yes! Part two of the Rob Ridge video interview is now online! This BMX video is packed with a ton of great advice, wisdom and stories, along with Rob’s incredible riding. It’s guys like Rob that remind us that BMX isn’t just about who can do the best, latest tricks or having the nicest bike. It’s about having fun doing what you like to do on a bike! Some of the young guns could take a lesson or two away from this!

Miss part one? Watch it here: Ride On Talks To Rob Ridge – Part 1
If it wasn’t apparent that we’re huge fans of Rob Ridge here at BMX Union, there’s a good chance you just haven’t caught one of our posts on here or Facebook, until now. Today, we stumbled across this interview over on Flat Matters with Rob that the Ride On crew did and you better believe we were stoked. This is part one of an interview where Rob talks about getting into BMX in the early eighties, progressing along, contests, bikes, rider fashion and more, along with a ton of amazing riding footage. All in all, this is a great watch whether you want some really good insight on BMX or just to see some awesome technical ramp / flatland hybrid riding. Hit play because this is one BMX video you can’t pass up.

We are always so stoked when a BMX video from one of the most under rated and quite possibly the best BMX ramp rider in the world, Rob Ridge, drops! Rob just dropped this banger of a video that’s filled with a ton of insanely technical ramp and flatland tricks that really don’t make much sense as to how the hell he does what he does, but it’s amazing. This is what we call front brake magic! Hit play, because this is a MUST SEE video!
