NORA Cup 2020 Trails Rider of the Year Nominees

September 10, 2020

The NORA Cup 2020 Trails Rider of the Year Nominees have been announced! Here’s a look at the 5 guys who have been nominated getting it done on trails from Pennsylvania to Australia. Take a look since there’s a few names you might not have expected on this list!

“This isn’t a traditional NORA category in the sense that it’s solely based off of riding, but also a person’s contributions to the trail scene as a whole. Shovels in the proverbial dirt type stuff. The trail riding community has voted and here’s your top five nominees for NORA Cup Trail Rider Of The Year. Congrats to Cory Nastazio, John “superfly” Skavarla, Mark Potoczny, Matty Aquizap, and Russel Brindley on their nomination…

Who’s got it this year?!

The pandemic won’t let us have a party this year, so we’ll be debuting winners online in the coming weeks. Stay tuned…

I also have to thank the following brands for supporting/allowing NORA Cup to happen…
Monster Energy, Vans Shoes, Vero, Source BMX, Profile Racing, Mongoose Bikes, Kink BMX, Subrosa, Stolen, Odyssey, Cult, Snafu, Haro Bikes, ODI Grips, Eclat, Sunday Bikes, GT BMX, Cinema, Colony, Pumped BMX’s Trail Boss, Bell Helmets, Shadow Conspiracy, Hyper Bike Co, and Eighties BMX.

Australian legend, Terrible One, Back Bone BMX and Vans rider, Russell Brindley might not pop up all too often these days, but this new video giving us a little insight into his life is a great reminder of just how good this guy really is! Besides staying busy with a wife, kid and job, it’s safe to say Russell is still making plenty of time to enjoy his time on his bike, too. Excellent riding, great film work and some good tunes.
