Scotty Cranmer on Snafu
Not going to lie… I kind of saw this coming when Scotty Cranmer was added to the Hyper team since both companies are owned by the same people. Scotty is now also riding for Snafu! Check out a few words from Matt Bischoff, Scotty, Harry Main and Greg Illingworth about the news.
“In Spring of 2012, I had the opportunity to take on the role as Brand Manager of Snafu. For over a decade, I rode for Snafu under the helm of the one and only Mcgoo.
Throughout the years, I got to be a part of the Snafu team that consisted of some of the worlds best BMX riders that were hand picked by former Snafu Brand Manager Mcgoo.
I am so stoked to now be able to put together a team that consists of riders that I respect, on and off of their bikes, that is quickly becoming what I believe is one of the best teams
in BMX.
I am proud to announce the addition of Scotty Cranmer to the Snafu team for 2013!
I met Scotty years ago on a road trip when Scotty opened up his park after hours for us. Scotty has deep roots in BMX and his riding style comes from a combination of his BMX racing background mixed with years of riding one of the best parks on the East Coast, The Incline Club.
Scotty supports BMX through and through by owning his own park as well as SC Action Sports Bike shop.
Plain and simple, Scotty Cranmer is a Bad Ass!” -Matt Bischoff
“2013 is starting off as a great year for me! The good just keeps on coming in and this time I get to tell the BMX world that I have officially joined the Snafu team. Snafu has been a top notch company since I started riding the skatepark and it’s an awesome feeling to be a part of the brand now. There are so many amazing things that we have planned for the future, I am just so pumped that I am brought on board for the ride!” – Scotty Cranmer
“Scotty is one of the greatest riders of our time, he is also one of the nicest guys in BMX. I’m really stoked to have someone of his class on the SNAFU team.” -Greg Illingworth
“Scotty Cranmer needs no introduction in my opinion….such a great all around rider!! Stoked he has joined me and Greg illingworth on snafu! We are ready to rock!!!” -Harry Main

Scotty Cranmer off Felt
Well… This just dropped into my email and surprised the hell out of me. I wonder where Scotty is planning on going next. Any guesses?
“This one is a tough one to write…. After a great 9.5 years Felt Bikes and Scotty Cranmer have decided not to renew for 2013, nothing big happened, no drama, just a decision that had to be made and both sides are good with each other. When I first saw him at Metro Jam in 2003 I knew he was special and something I wanted Felt to be a part of, no one can argue that over the years he has proven to be one of the greats in this thing we call BMX. Contest medals, game changing edits, insane ads and memories of a kid having fun on his bike will be remembered forever, I am glad I got to be a part of it. Scotty and his family are good people and people I plan to stay in contact with for a long time, Felt and I personally wish him the best in his next steps which I am sure will be announced soon.” – Alan Foster – Felt Bikes

“Scotty Cranmer belongs to the elite group of BMX riders that are fortunate enough to own their own bike shop — the one Scotty owns happens to be the shop where he got his very first BMX bike! Take a look at Scotty’s multi-colored frame with seventeen different colors all blended together made by Felt. Hear Scotty Cranmer break down all the bits and pieces that make up his BMX ride in this Setup.”
