On September 15th, Shape Bicycles threw a jam over in France. The jumps were all dialed in and it looks like everyone was able to get plenty of laps in that day. Check out the video. I want to ride this place!
It looks like Sylvain over at Shape Bicycles was put in charge of creating the trophies for the Vans Kill The Line contest going down in Peynier, France September 1st and 2nd. Here’s a video showing you the design process and the machining involved in creating these rad looking trophies. I’d want to take one of those home with me.
Shape Bicycles are throwing a trails jam on September 15th and 16th at the Run Trails in Northern Brittany, France. Based on this quick promo, the trails look real fun and it should be a good time. They’ll be running some different contests for fun and prizes as well as have some of the team there to hang out with. Pretty rad. Get there if you can!
Shape Bicycles sent through a few shots of their new split cap. The split cap is Jared Ball’s signature product for the brand and essentially it replaces the top plate on the Shape stem with these two plates which helps reduce weight by about 21 grams, and gives it a different look. It’s definitely a unique signature product, but it’s also rad. You can find more info by visiting the Shape Bicycles website at Shape-Bicycles.fr.
Shape Bicycles have added U.K trails rider, Tom Bond, to their team. Tom is a 17-year old shredder who has been killing it in the U.K for a little while now and it clearly left an impression on brand owner, Sylvain Taro. They’ve got him setup with a fresh kit of Shape parts and plan on starting to design his own signature part here in the near future as well. Expect to hear more about Tom in the future.
Here’s some of the bonus footage from the Shape Bicycles U.K trails trip that they took over the summer. Not much for riding, but there’s a lot of shots of some of the U.K’s finest trails, some hookers and other miscellaneous stuff.

Over the course of the last few months, I’ve been seeing this brand named “Shape” popping up here and there. Each time, there was more backing of it being a real brand and it sparked me attention. I recently got in touch with Sylvain, who owns Shape Bicycles to find out more about this new brand that has been starting to emerge. It turns out that there’s some good things coming from this rider owned brand. Let’s find out a little bit more about this new project…
The Shape Bicycles crew recently did a UK trails trip. Here’s videos from The Woodyard and PSA trails. I’d imagine there will be more coming from this soon enough.
